She will be a great mama,

Last days of 2010

The Inkley Christmas party is always a couple days after Christmas, which is alright with me! Anything to stretch out the holidays makes me smile. The kids are getting way too used to opening presents!

the kids had fun with their cousins, uncle danny and aunt camille at the aquarium

Christmas afternoon

We made our way over to my parent's house for Christmas afternoon and enjoyed some tasty food and some extra Christmas spoiling. Naomi is still saying Merry Christmas and pretends to open presents. I don't think she is liking that it is now a New Year and Christmas is a long ways away!

Why can't time stand still for just a little?
I was not ready for Christmas to be over.
It always goes by too fast.
I've been thinking about all the changes that 2011 is going to bring.
Naomi will be turning 4 and will be a Sunbeam. I can hardly believe it. Where did my baby girl go? She is a smart, sweet, happy and independent little girl.
Many times she will be in the middle of something and out of the blue she will run up to me, give me a big hug and kiss and say, "I love you mama."
It makes my day.
Grant is still full of explosive energy, but it learning to contain it a little better. He is less rough with his sister...
(we are still working on it)
He climbs out of his crib and wakes us up in the mornings, which he is so proud of.
I'm hoping one day he will be comfortable enough to stay without me.
I'm thinking that once the older kids move up, it will calm down a little and he can settle in easier. We shall see.
Hope you all had a Merry Christmas and enjoy this new year!
