Higgy-Higgy
We have jumped on the chicken band wagon and started a little flock of Delaware chickens. These are our four chicks (one is possibly a rooster). The chicks love to be taken out in the yard where they can peck in the grass and be chased around the yard by Bryn.
Ragnar Relay 2011
This was Jason's ragnar team this year. The Landsharks. These are at the finish line. Sage was lucky enough to get to run with Jason as they finished. They completed the race in about 25 hours.
Laundry
This is Bryn's favorite thing to do while I fold laundry. She takes the girls clean underwear and puts it on like bracelets, hats, and necklaces. At least it keeps her from pulling apart all my folded piles.

Crocheting
Now that school is back in session I have found that I have a little bit more time for crafting and such. I have been buying patterns off of etsy and in my spare moments I will whip up a hat or something. I crocheted this little hat for Bryn the other day, after about an hour of watching videos on YouTube trying to figure out how to do all the stitches. It is a little lopsided because I lost count of my stitches a bunch of times but it was so much fun to do something like that again after a long hiatus of summer.

Harvest
We planted way too many zucchini plants this year! We haven't been able to keep up with the harvest and we are always going out to find giant zucchini hiding. You know your zucchini is way past due to be picked when it is as big as your baby.
If only Sage loved eating Zucchini as much as she loved snuggling it! Oh, well it all makes good zucchini bread. YUM!

Ragnar Relay 2010
The Team: "The Whole Fam Damily"
Sage and Hallie with their sign to cheer Jason on.
Here comes Jason running up our road.
All Spring Jason trained to run a relay race with a bunch of his family. It is a race that starts in Logan and then goes all the way to Heber and back into Park City for a total mileage of something like 160 miles. The team is made up of 12 people and they each run three legs of the race with varying mileage. Jason trained and did a really good job! He has never been one to be happy to stay up for extended periods of time but he did great, even running in the middle of the night. We didn't get to watch too much of the race due to Hallie having the stomach flu but we got lucky and Jason had the segment of the race that ran right down our road. The kids made him a sign and were so excited to see him run by. Sage said, "We should put Good Luck on the sign because Dad's going to need it." Sage got to run across the finish line with Jason and she thought that was pretty neat. Jason did sleep almost the entire next day but I think he and his team had a great time!
