Whiff of Joy Challenge 8

Today is a new challenge over at the Whiff of Joy Challenge Blog.
This weeks challenge is to make a "Boy's Christmas...***NO BLUE***".
Ok so obviously I didn't look at the challenge very well since I colored his pants blue and used a piece of of blue paper for my sentiment and image mat. That will teach me to pay better attention!! I'll try and make a new card tonight following the rules.
But anyways head on over and take a look at the other DT cards they are so CUTE!!!
Also Claudia over at Pretty Pressings is having a fantastic blog candy. So you might want to stop by over there too. Take a few minutes to check out her fabulous cards. They are wonderful!!

Kit Two...

Check out that cool Santa image.. He's just one of many cool vintage images in the Christmas Vintage Kit. I really like the Merry Christmas saying with the cool border.
When Claire sent me the kits from Making Hade Made Cards she only wanted me to use the kits except I could add ribbon, glitter, brads and stuff like that. So the image, paper & saying came from the kit. Pretty cool!
I must admit it was hard not having anything to color, but once I got started it was ok. And it was nice having everything in the kit to put together the card. I didn't have to search though my stash for just the right colors. It was all right there.

Digital Images....

Digital Images... Have you ever tried them? I've used digital paper before and I have a couple of Digital images that I have never used. They are kind of neat. A couple of days ago I received an email from Claire over at Making Hand Made Cards about trying her new digital kits to make a couple of cards for her new store. Well I said sure why not.

The images are from the Christmas Doodles Kit and the paper is the Christmas Funky Kit. There are a bunch more cute images in the Christmas Doodle Kit these are just the ones I picked out.

The angels have two other sizes on the paper you print out. This was the medium size. I didn't make them any other size then what printed. I
then paper pieced the outfits and added glitter to
the wings and halo's.

I got the idea for these card's from Debby's blog A Scrapjourney . Thanks Debby your cards are awesome!
So if you have a chance click on the Making Hand Made Cards link above and sign up for Claire's newsletter. It has a bunch of freebies. She'll be opening her store up very soon so make sure to bookmark her site for the future.
Hope you'll come back tomorrow for another card made with a different kit from Claire.
