- In the current society, how should people choose when faced with distorted truths and falsehoods and when black and white are reversed? The story will revolve around Roger Kwok, Kristal Tin, and Ron Ng. Because of a series of incidents, they meet each other and experience many weaving scenarios, mutually influencing each other's future direction and conceptions...when facing many different choices in life, enter the grey areas when caught in between truth and falsehood and black and white.
- The storyline will be about the grey areas of humans, and that there is no absolute good or bad. It will use numerous cases to bring out the development of the character relationships.
- Roger will play Ko Chit Hang (高哲行), a villainous barrister who is paralyzed from the waist down. He was originally a lawyer who did things in an honest way; however, because of Ron, he got into a car accident, which caused paralysis in both of his legs. He believed that he could stand up again, but he encounters many obstacles and troubles because of financial problems. He worked hard to obtain his barrister's license, having to meet wealthy people and becoming known from doing business. Afterward, he accepts Kristal's case; between money and righteousness, he chose to fight the case for money. Since then, truth and falsehood and black and white became obscured, entering the grey areas. He will be in a wheelchair for the entire series. After the 10th episode, he changes to using a motorized wheelchair. He sucks up to wealthy girl Lisa Lau, hoping to use her power to make him stand up again. In the end, he causes Kristal to go to prison, and also kills Mat Yeung. He will have a romantic storyline with Kristal Tin.
- Kristal will play Tam Mei Ching (譚美貞), a Portland Street girl who does not know right from wrong. She comes from the lower class, and she grew up in Portland Street. Her world does not have the conceptions of what is true and false. In order to survive, she can use illegal means. Her boyfriend is a gangster, but she does not think that her boyfriend is wrong. Afterward, her boyfriend causes her to get entangled in a lawsuit, which awakens her and makes her go on the right path. In the end, she follows the wrong boss, and even goes to prison. After getting out of prison, she works at Roger's law firm. She is initially a bad girl, but later gets brought under control by Roger. She will have kiss scenes with Roger, Mat, and King Kong.
- Ron will play Cheung Lap Fan (張立勛), a loyal and upright cop who has strong conceptions regarding what is true and false. He has a very tough appearance, but he is actually a very emotional person. When he finds out that his girlfriend's father broke the law, he originally places righteousness over family loyalty; however, when he wants to report it, he discovers that there is not enough evidence. How will he choose between love and righteousness? He really trusts Roger, but gets used. He caused Roger to be paralyzed. He gets influenced by Roger, so he does some things that cross the line. He and Lisa will play a couple. There will be more psychological scenes. He is called 'Funny Sir'.
- Jason Chan will play a barrister. He and Roger work at the same law firm. He frequently targets Roger. On the surface, he seems to be very self-confident, but he actually feels inferior. He does anything in order to rise to a higher position. He is a villain.
- Leanne Li will play Waise Lee's wife.
- Louis Cheung will play Marco Ma Kai Yuen (馬啟源), a very wealthy, young talent in finance. He uses his brains to do real estate. He went to prison before. Because of love, he ends up with a tragic ending. He is a man who gives up everything for the person he loves. He is a villain. He has more scenes with Roger. He has intimate scenes with Leanne.
- Kiki Sheung will play Sin Wai Ying (洗慧英), a Superintendent of Police who has a great sense of justice. She is Ron's mother.
- Lisa will play a CID. She is Ron's girlfriend.
- Vivien Yeo will play Icy, a member of the Major Crimes Unit. She has a crush on Ron.
- May Chan will play a beer girl. She is Mat's younger sister.
- Becky Lee will play a solicitor. She is Louis' subordinate.
- Derek Wong will play Benjamin Ko Chit Ming (高哲明), Roger's manic younger brother. After his brother became paralyzed, he originally wanted to take on the responsibility of taking care of his brother; however, because of the need to spend a lot of money and time, he could not coordinate.
- Claire Yiu will guest-star, having scenes with Kristal.
- Mat will play a gangster. He is Kristal's boyfriend.
- Jennifer Shum will play Leanne's assistant.
- Koo Koon Chung will play a triad leader.
- Kelvin Lee will play Ng Ho Hin (吳浩軒), a member of the Major Crimes Unit.
- Gregory Lee will play a member of the Major Crimes Unit.
- Momo Wu will play a CID.
- Lau Tin Lung will play a CID.
- Waise will play a major property developer. He is a major villain.
- Billy Cheung will play Waise's subordinate.
