Has it really been that long?

Wow I cannot believe it's been an entire week since I last posted....

I just finished this one moments ago and used  

Steam Punk Lady Audrey from the Octopode Factory.

 Lily has converted many of her digis into rubber! 

I swear if the dollar wasn't so weak against the Pound I'd buy them all!

Here is a much needed birthday card I made for a special friend:

The embellishment consists of buttons, fimo clay, dimensional and metallic paints and black twine.
Well that's about it except I thought you'd like to know Oscar's arm is healed and without  a cast, his break was teeny tiny, almost not a break at all!

Home Sweet Home!

 We had a wonderful time but feels great to be home!  I implore you, if you ever get the chance to go to St. Louis go to the City Museum you will be dumbfounded by it's amazement!

It was a blast, just be prepared to squeeze yourself into tiny orifices! Vaseline and knee pads would have come in handy!

With so many male birthdays around the bend I figured it's time to tackle several of these. The awesome ticket tag was from a freebie set that for the life of me I cannot remember who created these. If anyone out there can tell me who created these magnificent tags I'd be most thankful! To make the cityscape pop I paper pieced it and the fun space frame is from Bam Pop.

Bibi Gnomes!

Hello I hope you are all well I am In KC right now excitedly anticipating the St. Patrick's day Parade.

Every silver lining has a touch of grey...

Wow we had the best day yesterday it was amazing outside, the kids had the day off from school, and we set of to the zoo! We stopped on the county roads to take pictures:

Everyone took lots of pictures!

It was a great time!

 

 

 And then Oscar tripped and broke his arm....

He was so very brave, poor little sweetie!

Nether the less, I enjoyed this day with my kids

and am looking forward to the summer! Minus the cast...

This image beckoned to be paper pieced so I obliged using Basic Grey Offbeat. I know it's had to view but I used tiny green pearls for fer blouses buttons and an ivory one for her earring.

Today will be a great day, the temp will be in the 60's and my three children have the day off...

Pink Cat Studio Release!

Good morning I am excited to share Melissa's newest release of Critters this week!:

These are available now at the Pink Cat Studio and compliment last weeks release of Gnomes.

I fell in love with the Hedgehogs, and you get all three for a great price!

Here is my card using this weeks Mojo Monday Sketch # 180:

Using the Wild Card cartridge I cut out this card and dug out some scraps from the abyss for the dp.

I printed this hedgie out onto kraft and colored his hair( for lack of a better word) with Cocoa Bean Prismacolor marker  and after it dried I drew some lines in for texture. (you need to click the image to see)
