So Far...

Alright this weekend my mom's family had it's annual Christmas party, we have been doing this party for as long as I can remember. It is always such a blast.
For the last couple of years my family has also been exchanging presents on the same weekend, since my mom, brother & sister-in-law live so far away.
For Christmas this year, I have been telling everyone that asks what I want for Christmas, that I would like baby stuff. So this is what I got from my mom, and my brother & sister-in-law.

These are from my sister-in-law Aubrey

These two are my favorite from set that she gave me.

This my brother picked out, it is a blanket with matching beanie. (Our family has a thing for Winnie the Pooh)

These my mom brought back from Hawaii

I love the Turtles!!

Getting all of this just makes me so excited! In someways this is still very surreal to me. So this is all I have, besides a blanket that I got that has a monkey on it.

Flooring

This weekend we really got started on the baby's room. We took off the molding that way in the middle of the wall that went all the way around. We also ripped out the carpet, when we did this we discovered that there was hard wood floor underneath. Unfortunately it is too far gone to restore, plus it has had some help over the years at getting trashed. Here are some pictures.

This is where the carpet padding was stapled to the hardwood floor, in the middle of the room.

I know it is kind of hard to see, but this one shows how the finish on the flooring is completely gone.

Too bad, I guess we will just stick to the laminate wood flooring we bought.
I will post pictures of the entire room once it is finish and show some before and after pictures.

Just a complaint

Whoever designed maternity tights, must be a guy, or at least someone who has never been pregnant. Why is it that people think that when you are pregnant you want to try and squish your belly back in? Seriously, I don't need to try and look like I am not pregnant I need something to cover my legs when I wear a skirt!! It is a really good thing that the only time I wear skirts is to church, so I only have to put up the uncomfortable tigts for a short time. If I could find a long skirt they I could get away with knee highs and I would be fine with that.

Update

Alright, yesterday I had my ultrasound, and even though most of you know this already

It's A Girl!!

Here are a few more ultrasound pictures, sorry they are all kind of grainy. I guess that's what get when you scan a ultrasound picture.

We have not picked a name yet, we have talked about several, and we will eventually narrow it down. I did however look at bedding a little more. So far these are my three favorites.

Brown Flowers from Target

Ladybugs from Babies R Us

This one is at the top of my list right now, Teddy Bears from Walmart

I don't know which one I will do, or if I will do any of those. What does everyone else think?
