Maeley was so excited to have her teacher voted teacher of the week and that she got to be on the radio and TV!! Yeah! We love having Mrs. Burton as Maeleys kindergarten teacher!

Happy Happy Birthday to my Sweet Maeley

Wow It seems that I just barely posted Maeley's 4th birthday! I guess It was only 2 posts ago but more than 10 months! So the past year has been quite busy. Last Summer Maeley wanted to donate her hair so we chopped it off during our visit in Utah. She started preschool in August and soccer in September. Her 2nd year of Dance in October and Swimming lessons in January! She absolutely loved preschool and is definently ready for Kindergarten in the fall. She has grown so much! All the cute little saying in her last birthday post are now pronounced correctly. ( :( kinda sad in a way) Except one thing she still says that I love is "confume" for perfume which she got for her birthday to honor that! She is still (and hopefully always will be)my little cuddlebug and will fall asleep in an instant anywhere.

Catching Up

I know its amazing We are alive still! I was talking with family and I realized that I dont post because I wanted to keep it chronological order which just gets worse the more time that passes. My intention was to have this be my Journal of sorts. SO I realized that I just need to forget all that I had intended to post and start fresh. I thought a quick slide show highlighting events would do the trick to catch us up. So enjoy the show and stay tuned.

Ethans first year

So its four months late and I started this slide show a while ago but never finished it until now. Wow I am a little behind. You could say things have been a little busy around here. It seems that time can take forever when you want something to be over and then you realize how fast it actually goes. I have been wishing away the past couple of years because of Jareds super busy schedule. Its amazing to me Ethan is already 16 months and going into nursery soon! He has turned into quite the little man. He started walking around 13 months and is now the boss of the house. He has always been a big mama's boy and likes to make sure I am where he can find me. He absolutely LOVES cars or anything with a motor and says broom-broom any time he sees a toy car, tractor outside, big trucks and even the motorized thing that pushes the shopping carts at Target! He also loves to play ball with anyone willing. He loves to laugh with his sisters. If he knows it will make them laugh he will do it over and over. One of my favorite things right now is when he points his finger at something,get big eyes and mouth in the "ooo" shape, like whoa that is cool mom. And if I say oh wow he smiles his cheeser like Oh yeah I know! He also loves to watch our fish, and will point his little finger and say "ish, ish". I love his cute little teeth that are rounded on the corners, I love his deep concentration when he plays, I love his crusty's he gives me when he gets in trouble, I love his sweet dark brown eyes like his Daddy and sister, I love his one dimple and his cute little laugh. We are so grateful to have our sweet little man! We love you Ethan

My Bay Mae is 4!

I have been meaning to do this for a month now. I cant believe my little Maeley turned 4 June 10th. She is so sweet and loving, always wanting to cuddle and have anyone willing to "kickle" her back. (or arm or leg or tummy etc.. thats our secret to keeping her quiet in church.) Some of my favorite things about Maeley is she says at least 3 or 4 times a day "Mom, youre da best!" As you can imagine it melts my heart. She's pretty funny too, she loves to quote movies and uses them at the perfect time. Almost everytime she gets in her carseat, without fail says "mom I cant do it... oh I did it" all in one breath. I love that her alphabet doesnt have a "T U V" in it. I love that she cares more about getting her foot flipped when she bowls than hitting pins. She loves steak and whenever we eat it she says in robotic tone "I like beef!"

I love her cute cheesy smile that make her dimples deep as can be. I love her dark brown eyes like her daddy. We just love our bay mae and are soo grateful we have such a sweet little girl!

Big Month for the Browns

So I'll start with the most recent and go backwards this time. Jared graduated from Medical school on May 1st which happened to be our 11th anniversary! YEA! Happy Anniversary my Sweet Love! (I made a slide show for Jared and tried to post it but it wouldnt work:( It was to my new favorite songs 1,2,3,4 by Plain white T's and also Lucky by Jason Mraz and Colbie Callie) I truly am lucky to be in love with my best friend! I love you Jared :0)

I wish graduation meant that he was done but alas no just one last step before we finally reach the goal. So two more years of residency. He is currently on anesthesia and has been a little stressed knowing he is in control of peoples lifes. This July he starts general surgery he has six months of, mixed in with some head and neck, plastics and some other surgery. Ive lost track of what he's doing since its constantly changing.
Another major accomplishment is I can eat milk products and drink milk YEAH!!! Ethan has finally outgrown his milk protein intolerance. I havent knowingly tried soy yet so I still have to read some labels but I am sooooooo excited to be able to have my beloved chocolate. Believe me I have had my fair share! Ethan has also cut his top two teeth (just this week). And the last (or actually it was the first) major event was Emma and I finally chopped our hair to donate to locks of love. We are both loving our new cuts and do not miss our long hair at all! Im curious to hear what you all think. LONG or short for me???
