Melody Makers was Broadway Musicals at their Best!

Ashley's solo came from "Joseph and the Technicolor Dream Coat." She has a beautiful alto voice and she really blossomed in this performance. She sang out strong, with great timing. It is fun to see her developing her talents!

Michone was "The King" and sang "The Kings dream" from "Joseph and the Technicolor Dream Coat". She is such a ham. Like her teacher said "no one does Elvis like Michone can!" Her voice has really developed the last couple of years and so has her confidence.

Michone, Ashley, and Kalli were all part of "Fiddler on the Roof" It is so fun to see them act, dance and sing.

Kalli looks so cute all dressed up and sings like and angel.

Here are the girls with their instructor Deb. Unfortunately this is their last performance. Deb has a different job. We are so sad.

Landon is all about T-ball

Landon is the star of Josh's T-ball team. He has full concentration even in a rainstorm. Here he is the pitcher.

Landon is a super hitter. He loves to be the last hitter because they always get to have a homerun! He is fast.

Kalli watching and cheering during the beginning of the storm.
Michone always prepared and ever supportive!

Cleanest Kitty!

Landon had a friend over and they decided our kitten didn't smell very good and needed a bath. Needless to say, our bathroom turned into a small swimming pool from all the water that spilled out of the sink, our kitten had swimming lessons, and the boys had a GREAT time! All is well, the bathroom floor got mopped and the kitten smelled better

Baxter reunion - MOAB

In mid May we had the Baxter reunion in Moab, Utah. It was a great time but we sure missed Brad, Tia and Aaron, and Trace and Erica!

Probably the best part of the whole trip for the children!

This is a plaque explaining about a Civil War veteran who had moved out to this barren country at a ripe age and lived here for several years. Amazing that someone would do that voluntarily.

Teton Dam Run

For the last few years, the City of Rexburg has sponsored a marathon run. They call it the Dam Marathon in memory of the Teton Dam which failed in June 1976. The run is held close to the anniversary of the Teton dam collapse and they start the marathon at the sight of the old Teton Dam. Anyway, it is a "fun" event to be involved in and over the years Garrity and I have done the marathon and the marathon relay. The different events include the marathon (26.2 miles), the half marathon (13.1 miles), a 10K(6.2 miles) a 5K, and a family fun run of 1 mile. Ashley did the 5k (3.1 miles) this year with Tara joining her in support. She did an awesome job! Landon and Ryan (in flip flops) did the family fun run with Grandpa Bingham there for support. They did great also! Garrity came up from her work in Phoenix and her and I both did the half marathon. It was a lot of fun. Thanks so much to Mom and Dad and Garrity for coming and joining in the fun. Here is a picture taken by a co-worker of me right after I crossed the finish line.

Justin - can we schedule you for the 2011 race?
