I hope you are having fun at the Magnolia-licious Christmas Magic Blog Hop! If you have come here from the beautiful blog of
then you are in the right place. If you are just starting, you will want to go to Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog to start at the beginning.
For my blog hop project today, I took a photo album and made it into a desk top calendar for a Christmas gift. I used It's Cold Outside Tilda from the 2014 Waiting for Christmas Collection for the image on the outside of the calendar. I colored all the images with Prismacolor pencils and many of them have stickles added for a bit of bling. I added flowers from WOC, bells, and pine cones that I made using a Tim Holts die. I added some white paint to the tips to make it look like snow.
The calendars I used were a free printable that I found on Pinterest HERE. The cute water color print on it determined the colors I used for each page. For the calendar pages picture above, I used Ski Star from the 2014 Waiting for Christmas Collection, You are My Valentine Tilda from the 2015 Lovely Duo Collection, Little Miss Tilda and Sweet Bunny from the 2015 Sakura Collection, and London Tilda from the 2013 Little London Collection. I used Spellbinders and Marianne Dies to cut out the images and Doohickey dies from the Volume Collections and also the Doohickey Lovely Fence and Tilda Lace dies for the embellishments.
For the four calendar pages picture above, I used Tilda in the Garden from the 2014 Pink Lemonade Collection, Lovely Ring Twice Tilda from the 2015 Lovely Duo Collection, Summer Bathing Tilda from the 2013 Sea Breeze Collection, and Instagram Tilda from the 2015 World Wide Web Collection.. The images are cut out using Spellbinders dies. I embellished each page with Doohickey dies from the Volume Collections and also the Doohickey Mushroom Kit and Tilda Lace dies.
For the four calendar pages picture above here, I used Bohemian Peony Tilda and Hippie Tilda both from the 2015 Boho Collection, Prime Ballerina Tilda from the 2013 Little Circus Moscow Collection, and It's Cold Outside Tilda from the 2014 Waiting for Christmas Collection. I used Spellbinders dies to cut each image out and Doohickey dies from the Volume Collections and also the Doohickey Fence and Tilda Lace dies.
Here is a side view with all of the pages put back into the desk top calendar pad.
