WOYWW - Week 56

Another week has flown by and it's that time again.  I think my desk is a bit messy this week.  Have treated myself to some more promarkers which I keep in the purple box to the left of the photo.  At the back of the photo I have downloaded a chart so that I can keep track of the colours that I have.  Good idea so that you don't double up on any.  Just in front is a sheet of card which I have stamped various images.  Am having a play to see if I can get the hang of blending the colours.  Last night I was working on an anniversary card for my daughter and son-in-law.  Not quite finished yet, you will see the completed card soon.  I hope you are all enjoying the sunshine!  Now I am hopping over to have a nosey at all the other WOYWW's.  Why not pay Julia a visit at The Stamping Ground to see what all this is about!  Thank you for popping by!

Have a good week!

What's on your Workdesk - Wednesday 53

What a great time we all had last week.  It was wonderful having a look at all the different creations.  Well done everybody!
On Saturday, we went to the beach, it was such a lovely day, although it was a bit breezy down by the water!
On Sunday, I was in crafting heaven.  Went to the International Papercraft and Stamp fair in The Corn Exchange in Edinburgh.  It is the first time I have been to that fair, and I must say I was very impressed.  Spent lots of money.  But when you get home it dosn't look much when you lay it all out.

I was especially pleased, I bought my first ProMarkers.  Have been playing with them ever since.  I just love them.  Here are a few images I have done.

Here's a special doorstop
to sit upon the floor,
it'll brighten up your house no end
and keep an open door.

This  is Fudge my cat.
I got her from The Xpressions Gift Co.

A selection of my cards and some craftraking cards.

If you are wondering what's going on, pop over to Julia's blog at The Stamping Ground.

Thanks for looking.

WOYWW - 2nd June

Happy Anniversary WOYWW
Another week, and it's our Anniverary! WOYWW has been running now for a year and to celebrate we were asked to make something for our craftroom.  Mine is a hanging scrap book!  I used BoBunny papers.  Each page is like a photo frame, mounted on thick double sided foam pads.  Photos of my grandchildren enjoying an icecream in the garden, finished off with a few embellishments and ribbons.  If you are wondering what is going on, why not visit Julia's blog over at The Stamping Ground for more info!  I have only been joining in now for a few weeks but this is good fun and you get to meet so many crafting friends along the way.   Looking forward to seeing everybody's creations!

So what's on my desk this week.  I promised I would show you my new craft room -  These are all my new glass jars from IKEA - all 10 of them for my ribbons.

This is where I store all my nestabilities.  Have to watch though, because if you are not careful, they all fall down behind the desk.  Looks good, but in practice it's a bit fiddly!

This is my new storage unit, I got from IKEA.  Hubby built it up for me, and I am delighted with it.  I have all my flower embellishments now in little storage jars.  My card is all down the right hand side.  Folders at the bottom.  Inks, glitter, stamps, buttons etc down the middle.  On the left, books, more embellishments, pens, more ribbons and papers.

And lastly, my old bookcase I have re-arranged to hold my punches, stamps, more embellishments, templates and magazines.

Thanks for taking the time to look.  I'm off now to have a nosey. Can't wait to see what everybody else has made.
Happy Crafting!
