Christmas Cards in July!

Good Evening everybody.  I hope you all have had a good weekend.  I have been busy making  Christmas Cards.
For the first one I stamped an image with Black Archival ink and coloured all the windows with yellow crayon.  I then glittered all the roofs and windowsills to look like snow.   The image was then mounted onto white and silver card.  The sentiment is from Inkadinkado.   I am going to enter this card in

A Piper

Hello everybody and thanks for visiting me this evenimg.  I was asked to make a card for a man who is 40 and who likes to play the bagpipes.  Where am I going to get an image of a piper?  So I came up with this picture which is a children's colouring-in page.  I reduced it in size and mounted it on black cardstock.  The paper is from Colour Co-ordinations.  I used a Martha Stewart punch and added some ribbon and stones from my stash.  I hope he likes it.
I am going to enter it into the following challenges -
Craftalicious - Birthdays
Pollycraft Mpnday -  Happy Birthday
Thanks for popping by.  Happy Crafting.

WOYWW - Week 59

Hello and welcome to my blog.  Yesterday, we had such a lovely day and today it's pouring down again.  Where has the sun gone?
I was asked to make a male card who will be 40 and he likes to play the bagpipes.  What a dilemma.   I couldn't decide what papers to use.  In the end I went for the monochrome look.  I was going to colour the piper in, but then decided to leave him black and white.  I hope he likes it.  The papers are from  color coordinates.  A Martha Stewart punch.  Ribbons and pearls from my stash.  The image is from a children's colouring in page.
I'm off now to have a peek at everybody's desk.  If you are wondering what's going on why not pop over to Julia's blog at the Stamping Ground.
Thanks for popping by.  I hope you are all having a good day.
Happy Crafting

WOYWW - Week 57

What a week!  The weather has been rather mixed.  Sun, rain, hail and wind!  But on a brighter note - it's my birthday today!  Yippee!  Going out for lunch with my mum and maybe a look round the shops! Might buy some crafty bits and pieces - again!   To celebrate my birthday, I have a little candy  - it's a surprise -  to send to someone.  Please leave a comment, all the names will be put into a hat and hubby will make the draw.  This candy closes on Sunday, 11th July at midnight!  Good Luck!    So what's on my desk today?  Well, I am in the middle of a wedding card for Carlyanns Wedding Candy.  To the right is my paper trimmer - it looks like it is about to fall off  the table.  Some white ribbon - I don't know whether to use that or not.  I have used a Tilda stamp and some Magnolia flowers.  The paper is from BoBunny.  I spent a lovely afternoon with Fiona from Lildaffodil last week.  We had a good blether and crafted together. She gave me lots of good tips.  I have made various cards for challenges.   You can see them in previous posts.   If you are wondering what is going on - why not visit Julia from The Stamping Ground.   I'm off now to have a peek at all the other craftrooms.  Thanks for looking.
Take care
