Circles

Hello all.  I hope you are having a good weekend.  What a glorious day it was, sunny but cold.  You know that cupboard you have, you cant open it because everything will fall out.  Well, not any more.  I even found that CD I was looking for.   Then we went out for lunch.  Lovely.
I have made this card with a few challenges in mind.  I used designer paper from Fancy Pants Designs.  I added a few embossed circles.  A Lili of the Valley stamp coloured in using ProMarkers.  I made two heart shaped buttons using a heart punch.  Added some lace, ribbon and pearls.
I am going to enter it into the following challenges -
Delicious Doodles - Make your own buttons
Fussy and Fancy - Embossing and/or paper Piercing
NG Cards - Lace and Pearls
I hope you like it
Thanks for taking the time to look and have a great week.

3 Flowers, 2 DP's and 1 Image

Happy Wednesday all.  And what a wet and miserable day it is (outside that is) .  I have made this card using a stamp borrowed from my friend Fiona - Tilda blowing kisses.  She has been coloured in using Promarkers and the kisses have been highlighted using Diamond Stickles.  I have added stitching round the Designer paper.  The flowers were punched and sprayed with glimmer mist and then sprinkled with fine glitter.  The butterfly was glittered and two little gems were added.  A little bit of ribbon and a heart shaped buckle.
I am going to enter it into the following challenges -
Delicious Doodles #13 - Glitz, Glam, Shimmer and Bling
Ladybug Crafts - 3 Flowers, 2 DP's and 1 image
Top Tip Tuesday - Bling it on
Just Magnolia  WK 94 - Love You
I love Promarkers - Stitching
Thankyou for taking the time to visit me.
Happy Crafting.

Gentle Rain

This is my second post today.  Spending the day in my carft room as it is wet and horrible outside.  Thought I would have another attempt at the less is more challenge.  The theme this week is SPRING.  Have just been watching Joanna Sheen on Create and Craft colouring in her House Mouse with Promarkers. The raindrops have a bit of sparkle to them.   I have given him a border of gold card embossed with swiss dots.  A little bit of ribbon and a flower to match.  The greeting was added in the corner using the  lego tutorial on the Less is More challenge blog.
I hope you like.
Thanks for looking.

Ladybug Crafts

I hope you are all well.  We woke up to more snow this morning.  I wish it would go away. We have had enough.
Here is the finished handmade gift I made for 'Pay it Forward'.  I have sent it to Anne - Liverpool Lou.
I got the inspiration from  Stampaholics in Perth - my  local craft shop some years ago.  Sadly the shop is closing down.
I am going to enter it into The Ladybug Crafts Challenge - Anything but a Card.
I hope you like it and thanks for taking the time to visit.
Have a good weekend.

Less is More

Hope you are all having a good Thursday.  Have been shopping in Perth and picked up a few bargains at my local craft store which unfortunately is closing down.  I got this lovely little stamp for £2.  I have stamped it using Memento Rich Cocoa.  The little snowflakes have been glittered.  The card itself has been embossed round the edges although it is not very clear in the photo.  A little sentiment For You has been stamped in the corner.
I am going to enter it into
Less is More - One Layer Card with a theme of a FLOWER or a TREE
I hope you like it.

Be My Valentine

Hello Everyone.  I hope you have all had a lovely day.  I was out for tea and cake this afternoon with some friends.
I have made a gift bag and a card for Valentine's Day.  I am going to fill the bag with chocolates.  Of course, I had to try one first to see if they were OK.
I got this lovely paper and red card from Fiona - lildaffodil.  I used a Tilda stamp, coloured with ProMarkers.  The black doily was a peel off.  I punched out some red hearts and embossed them with swiss dots.  Finished off with some red ribbon.
The bag has a border of red love hearts - a Martha Stewart border punch.
I am going to enter it into/he following challenges -
Ladybug Crafts Ink - Love is in the air
Passion for ProMarkers - Let there be love
Allsorts - It must be Love, Love, Love
I hope you like it.

Pink, Black & White

This must be the quickest card I have ever made.  I feel I still want to add more.  I used "Poppy Stems" from Stampendous.  This is one of the first stamps I ever bought and I use it alot as it can be used for so many occasions.  The pink background has been made by using a wheel from Stampin' Up.  The sentiment is from Funstamps.
I am going to enter it into
Less is More - Pink, Black & White
I hope you like it.  Thanks for looking.

I made this card back in April 2010.  The challenge on Flashback Friday 7.0. is the first glitter card or page you made.  Although there is not much glitter - there is some on the number one and a little on the pink flowers.  Oh Dear - looking back - did I make this card???
