An Altered Box

Hello all and I have to apologise for the lack of comments.  Mr.  Blogger is at it again.  Every time I go to leave a comment the screen freezes.  It is so annoying!
Thought I would show you a wooden box that I decorated at my Sunday Craft Club up in Perth.  This took me four hours to complete, two cups of tea and a supply of cake.  I am so pleased with it.

Here is the lid, sorry not a very good photo.  I hope you like it.
Thanks for looking.
Have a great day!

Blog Candy

Why not pop over to see Lynn - Crafty Linby where she has candy to be won.  She has a fantastic blog and it closes on the 4th February.
Good Luck

2012 Calendar

Good Evening and welcome to my blog.  I thought I would make a calendar using stamps from Personal Impressions.  I got inspiration from a workshop I was at last year when I made a canvas using the same stamps.  The buttons and tailor's dummy was covered in scrap pieces of material I found in the cupboard.  I think I made a skirt for my grand-daughter when she was 3.  The little heart button and scissors I picked up at the SECC last year.  The ribbon and lace was from my stash.  I stamped the cotton reel, cut it out and wound red embroidery thread round it.  Simple but very effective.
I hope you like it.
Thanks for looking
Take care

Iris folding

Hi everyone and a Happy New Year.  My New Year resolution is to start blogging again.  I have missed it but it is finding the time.
I thought I would try my hand at Iris Folding.  Was easier than I expected.  The flowers in the wheel-barrow were made using a Marianne Creatable die.  The butterfly was a Martha Stewart punch.
I am going to enter it into the Flutterby Wednesday challenge.
I hope you like it and thanks for looking.
Take Care and Happy Crafting.
