Holiday Dreams- BITW reveal

Its that time again to reveal the new word for Bird is the Word and of course since its fitting for the season the word is Holiday.

Since I don't celebrate Christmas and I didn't have any Hanukkah pictures from last year, I decided to make a wintery layout and use the title Holiday Dreams because that's usually what I do in the winter, dream of warm holidays!!

I used papers by Pion Designs and lots of emebllies that came in my December Ces't Magnifique kit.

I used the sketch from Scrap Friends and made the hanging ornaments look like falling snow.

This beautiful clear candy looking branches I bought from a store that sells xmas decor. I love them and they add so much character to the layout

Flowers: Green Tara, Manorhouse Creations, Prima

Clear scraps large snowflake
Glass bead gel

Mother- Ces't Magnifique January Kit

For my 2 Crafty Sneak Peeks please scroll down to the next post.

Its time to reveal January's Kit from Ces't Magnifique

This is my first kit working as a Design Team member for Ces't Magnifique and its also the
first kit of 2013. You have a chance to purchase the add-ons that have been selected to
coordinate so well with this kit.  Take a look at the beautiful "Mother Nature" line from
Ruby Rock-it, and Australian manufacturer.

I loved working with these papers because they were so romantic and I love using birds on my layouts!!

Our Flower Add-on includes a beautiful vine and flowers from Prima and Making Memories.

The Embellishment Add-on is a collection of embellishments from Pink Paislee, Prima, Ruby Rock-It, Kaisercraft and Scrap FX.

The paper collection, and both add-ons are available for purchase in our Store.
We also have a few items from the embellishment add-on available individually.

"Mother"

When I saw the pink tones in this kit I knew I wanted to make a layout about motherhood with a picture of me and my kids. I cut the Royale paper in half and joined it to make a smaller frame. Then I hid the seams using different embellishments. I also cut out the birds from the paper and used pop-dots to raise them.

From the Flower Add-On:
Prima: Lucerne: Belle
Prima: Firefly: Stone
From the Embellishment Add-On:
Ruby Rock-It: Die Cut Pack: Mother Nature
Prima: Alphabet Stickers: Fairy Belle
