Last bits of summer! Part 1

We always have so much fun the last two months of summer. It's like we know winter is ahead and we won't be able to play/swim for a long time. Of course I had to throw a picture of Ms. Madilynn in the tub- she's so cute:)

We got a special visit from some of our favorite people Natalie and Samantha. We had a church activity at the park downtown while they were here and got to do some fun stuff.

We went to the water park finally! This was our first year without passes and it was actually ok until we went with the family in August and I saw how much the girls love it!
Kinley is so lucky to be able to get to celebrate birthdays with Papa. She usually gets double the cake and ice cream:)
Uncle Bubbo finally made it back from CA to visit. We love his visits especially Madilynn this time:)

Kinley's friend Sophie joined us at the zoo.
We learned how to make homemade rootbeer, now a fam favorite!

And of course our pool time! Reagan is getting so brave and Kinley did awesome this year. I'm excited for next summer to see how well they do swimming.

Last bits of summer! Part 2

We took a trip to Silver City which is in the mountains and is an old mining town. It was really really cool. The girls loved it too. I think this will def becoming a yearly tradation for us.

A couple random pictures of my girls:)

The state fair! We love the fair and this one happened to be an extremely HOT one. Kinley was able to ride the rides this year but the first one her big sister helped her b/c she was a little nervous. But thats all it took and then she was hooked. The beautiful exhibit was especially cool.

Kinley turns 3!

Kinley turned 3 and it was a Little Mermaid celebration! She wore that crown all day, it was adorable. I love that Kinley is a kid that loves home so when it comes to birthday celebrations she is easy to please. She wanted hotdogs, cheetos and grapes for dinner and just cake and ice cream. We invited her close friends over and played some outdoor games.
Her cake was really cool I wish I got a closer picture of it. It was decorated with Ariel and Flounder. By the market of course not me:)
We got her this cool balance bike. She was really hesitant at first but kind of got the hang of it before it go too cold. The funny thing is Reagan got on that thing and learned how to balance and within a week she was riding her own bike with out training wheels.
Kinley was caught in action sneaking a taste of her cake:)

Playing out door games. Paul had to take over b/c I couldn't remember how to play. He was better at it anyways:)

After the fun we let Kinley go at her cake. She was in heaven.

Earlier in the day we took Kinley to get her ears pierced. It was a perfect day b/c our deal was when she could use the big potty she could get earrings and it all happen so she could do this on her bday. She did so well!

Below is when it was bedtime the realy 3 year old came out of Kinley.

Such a beautiful girl on such a special day.

Happy 5th Reagan!

I am slowly but surely getting this blog caught up! Reagan birthday this year was all her idea. Her theme was ORANGE! Everything orange. Grandma and Grandpa sent her an orange swimsuit, an orange swimsuit cover and a cool orange vest. It was perfect for her orange festivities!

Her cousins were here to help her celebrate which was even more fantastic b/c they had moved to Canada over the summer! Emily made orange pancakes for her breakfast! And below we had some samplings of her orange cupcakes!

Everything orange! Including the snacks!

Do you like her pose on her new scooter? In the pictures below you can see Reagan being thrown b/t Paul and Jared. She LOVES it! The higher the better for her. And then Jared taught her how to float and she did it right away. Seriously she is a water baby!
Her birthday was amazing. And she loved it! She plans her birthdays like years in advanced. She had orange picked out since January. She is a 5 year old who loves life and loves people. All she wants is to have fun and play hard. We love that girl and feel so blessed to be her parents!
