What do these two pictures have in common............

....... this is what I saw as I pulled up my steep street, and waited for the people to grab there little children away from my driveway.  Did they get them?  NO, they then proceeded to dig threw my trash cans trying to find anything they could.  What was I Supposed to do?  I finally got in to my driveway sat in my car for a second sent Niccole a text message saying "I swear there are mexicans digging in my trash."  I wanted so badly to take a picture but couldn't figure out how to do it with them not noticing.  It was the saddest thing I have ever seen, these poor mexicans just trying to find something.  Then as I walked past them one of the little girls (in spanish) said something to me about coming in to my house.  I don't speak spanish so I heard casa and some others words. I wish so badly that I had some extra money to share with them but I don't so there is nothing I can do.  It was pretty sad and kind of weird at the same time, I felt like I was in mexico.

Question for all you mothers out there!!!

So I need some advice. I have been packing my hospital bag and I don't want to leave anything out.  What was something you brought that you Loved and were happy you brought?  Or something that you wish you had brought with you?  I don't want to forget anything so please leave comments with your advice even if I don't know you.  Thank you so much!

Baby Shower #2

Jessica came into town to throw me a shower, and with the help of friends and family it was a great success. It looked gorgeous! It was exactly what I wanted with the help of Leslie's BEAUTIFUL home, that I love. I got tons of great things and our baby boy is set. I don't think there is anything else that we need for this baby. Thank you Jess for everything and thank you everyone else for the great gifts and for coming and supporting me and the little one. We love you guys.

Maternity pictures

When Jessica was in town we did a maternity photo shoot. We had a good time and Maxwell was a good sport. We went just down the street from our house at this old building and then went down to the San Juan railroad. Thanks Jess for the great pictures.

Happy Birthday Christy!

Saturday night we celebrated Christys 60th Birthday. We had a yummy dinner and had a fabulous cheesecake made by Erika, it was fabulous!!!! I don't usually like cheesecake (or I thought I didn't) But this was amazing. It was an Italian Cheesecake. Erika always makes the best food and desserts. I Will be trying to make this myself really soon and plan on eating it all by myself. We also opened presents and played cards. Always an entertaining night with the Asay's. Oh luc and Joseph wanted to help Granny blow out the candles of course and Joseph also told us the ABC's backwards. He had picked it up the night before, he his brilliant. He is putting my kids to shame already.

My 1st baby shower!

I had a Baby shower last thursday night. It was so Great! They did a wonderful job, it was beautifully done and the food was great. I got a ton of great gifts. It was thrown by a couple girls in our ward and they did a fabulous job. I had so much fun, and can't wait to use all of my new stuff!

Irvine Spectrum

A couple weeks ago we went to the Irvine Spectrum with the gang. When we were walking to the car we realized that Niccole did NOT buy anything. This is very rare, she usually always has something to take back and buy or just something she has to get. We had to take a picture of her with out any bags. It was one of those Very Rare occasions that we had to document, we probably wont see it again for a while.
