KS Monday–Jan 31st, 2011

 

Hello and happy KS Monday everyone~

My card for today is clean and Simple! I was trying to whip more cards for the last one week but unfortunately it didn’t happen ;P The good thing is I liked how this card turned out!

I made and posted one card yesterday for Curtain Call Color Challenge and a couple of KS Crew Challenges if you’re interested in checking.

 

The card above was made with another challenges that was posted last week at Crew Challenge Cupboard.

Monday 10 Minutes Card Challenge 4 (10MCC4) – Use this simple square layout. (I changed the layout a little bit…but still finished within 10 minutes! Woohoo!!)

Wednesday Stock Up on Occasions Challenge (KSOCSaintPatricksDay) – Make a St. Patricks Day or Good Luck card (KSOCGoodLuck).

 

I used Multi Step Shamrocks & Clover set for the images and Ready 4 Any Holidays for the saying.

The all papers are from PaperTemptress St. Patty’s KSS Green Package. I really love the gold shimmer cardstock …make wonderful St Patty’s cards!! Both main & layer squares were punched with the same square punch and I just off sat the layers …saving more time for 10 minutes challenge ;)

 

 

These are the steps I did for each image:
(Shamrocks) 3rd – SU garden green,  2nd - SU wild wasabi, 1st – SU pear pizzazz

It’s a time for Repeat Impressions What If? Wednesday sketch challenge (J1410)!!

I used the tree image, “Shade of the Elm (2908-I) ” for the main image. It was colored with Copic Markers and layered under the window frame that was made with the Nestabilities (label 3 and circle) dies. I stamped the sentiment from NEW Quartet Complements series for the middle circle of the three small circles. I attached the buttons for the other two circles.

For my card, I used the sketch from Our Creative Corner challenge, that was posted on Mar 6th. Besides the Shamrocks & Clovers set, I used Words of Comfort & Joy for the words "So" & "Blessed". The inside of the card, I stamped the each word with Simple Sentiments and Other Important People sets.

These are the steps I did for each image (all inks are Memento unless mentioned):
(all clovers & shamrocks) 3rd- cottage ivy, 2nd - bamboo leaves, 1st - new sprout, repeat the 3rd step again

Paper Temptress St. Patrick's Day event

Hello everyone and happy birthday to me, hee hee. I'm officially 37 years young :):)

Not only it's my b-day, but I also want to invite you all to the St. Patty's celebration, hosted by PaperTemptress.
The celebration is starting TODAY at PaperTemptress's Community blog and it's a week long Treasure Hunt & a giveaway!! I'm so excited that Kitchen Sink Stamps is partnering for this celebration and KS Crews are going to be a part of it on Monday, March 15th. Sounds fun?
