Even though we were so tired last night after getting home from Zion, we weren't sure how to fit in all our fun activities so we decided to go ahead and dye our Easter Eggs in grandma's backyard last night. The kids are getting really creative and seem to have a lot more fun than they think they are going to have when we get started.
This morning we took the little kids to the Ivins Easter Egg hunt. It seems like we find ourselves here every year. I don't even know if they have these in Vegas because when we aren't in St. George then we are in San Diego. It's a great tradition.
Then we were all warmed up for the egg hunt in grandma's backyard. This is more fun for the older kids because a lot of the eggs have money in them. When the kids find the eggs they are learning to shake it to determine if they want to pick it up or "leave it for the little kids". wink wink.
I think Cord won this year racking up about $13.00 in egg money.
In an effort to squeeze in the maximum amount of fun this weekend, we then headed out to ride 4-wheelers. It was really hot out there in the sand but the kids still had a good time. I didn't take a lot of pics because I already have a lot on the 4-wheeler and I was too exhausted to chase the kids down. I just sat and visited with everyone else.
It was nice to see Nathan for a little bit as well.
