Leaving Las Vegas!

So as some of you know.. Yes I have a boyfriend and he lives very far from me. Well if you read my last post you know that I was able to go visit Scott one more time this year. I flew out Friday morning the 12th of December, (yes I know I am a little late getting this up) and Scott left a car for me at the airport. I drove to his friends work. Citadel gun and safe and I helped them prepare for the gunshow. It was fun and to be honest I learned quite a bit about guns. It was fun to help and hang out with Jon and Amber! (My new friends in Vegas)

I went to lunch with Scott and when I saw him I was like a kid on Christmas day. I was so excited. It was exhilirating to see him again. I gave him a huge hug and yes even a kiss.....right in front of his co-workers ( I am sure he hated that) Anyways it was a low key weekend and as always it was wonderful to spend some time with Scotty Scott!

Thanksgiving in St. George

This was a great trip. I am too tired to think of something clever or cute to put in my Blog so this is as good as it going to get. I arrived in Vegas early Wednesday morning and I went to meet Scott for lunch. It was fun to see him so soon after just being there the week before. After lunch I went to keep our friend Amber company, since she had just been in a serious ATV accident. We watched movies and hung out on the couch. When Scott got home from work we ate dinner and watched a movie. We ended up leaving for St George to his parents house around 10:30pm. We did not get there until 12:30am. To say the least I was super tired. We stayed up and chatted with his Mom Marlene and finally we cuddled on the couch before we hit the hay.

Well in the middle of the night I had to go to the bathroom and I was a little confused when I woke up and I hit my head right into the wall and then the door. I was positive by this point I had waken the entire house. But luckly I had not. The boys all got up early that morning to go shooting and watch a movie. I stayed with the girls to get dinner ready. I helped more by playing with the kids. We ate dinner later that afternoon and then Scott and I watched a movie and his mom came in where we were watching movie to start taking photos of us. That was funny. That evening we ended up heading back to Las Vegas because Scott had to work the next day. Friday night we went to Chili's for dinner and we watched a movie. Saturday morning we were off to Southern California again. We got there and went to dinner with Matt and Laura Minor. Their kids are super cute. We watched Napoleon Dynamite that night and I have to admit that it was hilarious and it was my first time watching that movie. We got up early the next morning to attend church at 9 am and we ended up teaching the 13 year olds this time. It was fun to see Scott teach.

We went to the Wayne and Carol Minors house for lunch and then we headed right back to Vegas because Scott had to work. It was a long drive as usual. Monday night I cooked dinner and we played ticket to ride. I made a fool of myself as usual. Tuesday night Scott's friends, Scott and I went to that Show in Las Vegas called Stomp! It was so fun as well as funny. Anyways I headed back to Utah last night and now I can call Scott something else besides my friend he is now my Boyfriend!!!

Life in the fast lane of dating!

Scott and Merrily met at the luggage claim. It really should be called the hall of fame.
Christmas Vacation and cuddling on the couch was friday night. I was so tired I almost lost my sight.
Early in the morning we began our drive, to California we left around 5!
Slurpees and Hawaiian food is what we ate, 007 kept us up late.
Sunday morning we went to church. We taught our Sunday School class a new word game, and I was the one who made myself look lame.
Teaching Sunday School was super fun, to bad I forgot the words Waters of Mormon.
Dinner with the Minors was such a dazzle, later that night we put together a puzzle!
Miko( the dog) and Merrily drove in a car, if Miko had his way we would not have driven very far!
Locks of Love is a great orgainization, I helped Scott's friend Amber make a donation.
Mexican and Sushi is what we ate for lunch. Scott and I got to hang out a bunch.
Tuesday I cooked dinner it was so fun, I almost burnt the dessert in the oven.
Ticket to ride is a great game, too bad Scott blocked my train.
Walking hand in hand in Vegas I did not want to leave, but I had to get home to see what Scott had up his sleeve.
Thanksgiving Dinner is in just a few days, I get to see Scott and be thankful in many ways!

Frequent Flyer Miles Anyone....

For some of you that follow my life as a blogger you should appreciate this post! I am off to go and visit Scott again. I will only be gone for five days this time, instead of nine. He wanted me to stay longer but I told him that I have a job that I need to attend to. However, for those of you who feel so inclined to start the Merrily dating fund please feel free to donate to your local Washington Mutual Branch.

As far as I know I will arrive in Vegas late Friday night(thanks to Southwest Airlines) and from there I will be going to drive with Scott to California again. It should be a fun filled time. Anyways that is all that I have to report. I am excited and hopefully it will be a fun filled time.........

Once upon a time.

Once upon a time there was a boy named Scott and a girl named Merrily. They went on a fun trip together to Las Vegas, Nevada, Lake Havisu, Arizona and San Jacinto, California. The boy bought Merrily a plane ticket to come out for a nine day visit. The trip started and ended in Las Vegas, but the fun was just begining. But as some of you know what happens in Vegas is not going to stay there. Here are all the details of the budding romance.

Scott took Merrily to wonderful dinners and one night held her hand. Scott gave her soft kisses and lots of bear hugs. Scott and Merrily went to eat Sushi and sing karaoke. They drove fast cars and went to Newport Beach. They worked hard together and learned about one another. Hopefully soon they will see one another.

Better than text!

So after six long weeks of texting and late night chats on the phone I finally met Scott Elsmore. We met after the Sunday afternoon session of General Conference. He had driven up from San Jacinto, California. We spent most of Sunday afternoon at Scott's friends house. We had dinner and the host burst out laughing when she found out that we met for the first time about 30 minutes before we got to her house. We ate dinner and hung out. The next day was a food fest. We ate breakfast at IHOP lunch at Don Pedros and Dinner at Red Robin. We went for a drive on the alpine loop and then we went to hang out at my aunt's house for a minute. It was great to spend time with Scott. This Afternoon we went to Lunch at Quiznos and then we went to hangout at my house. Overall it was a fun time and he mentioned that he wanted to fly me down to California and spend more time with him. So time will tell

Another day in my Dating Life...

This is My WElCOME sign for a new Visitor. That is right he is the latest and greatest in my dating life. His name is Scott Elsmore and he is from San Jacinto, California. We have been Chatting for about six weeks. He is a graphic designer and and mr fixit from what he has told me. He told me that he wants to come and visit me for the weekend. He is on his way driving as I write this. Well I decided to make him feel super welcome and I made him this sign. Here is a photo of Scott he is the one in the hat and sunglasses. I told him that we could look eye to eye on a ton of things. Did I mention that he is 5'4. I always knew good things come if small packages. I will let you know if that is true.

Oh yes that is right I am crafty!

Yes I have to brag about myself since Boys are dumb and I am not. I built this flag and I did sew this purse from scratch. I am trying to sell my flags and purses. If you have any ideas for my purse names enter you ideas here....

Another Prince charming update.

So as some of you know I have a darling 6 year old that prays for me on a nightly basis to get married. He must have a boatload of faith because I have some serious doubts. My darling Johnny Walker has not been to interested in chatting this week. My friend and neighbor Heather Pyfer told me to text Johnny on Friday afternoon and invite him to a concert that weekend, and I got shutdown. I felt like I had to walk away with my tail in between my legs. This is why I hate dating and trying to find true love. Because honestly I get shut down or I feel like an idiot all the time. I wish I could understand the brain of a boy and why they feel so inclined to play their stupid mind games. So for those who care and for those who are bored enough to read about my boring love life, send a prayer up on my behalf.

The Circus was in town

So my friend did not want to take her daughter alone to the circus. Kacey asked me if I could go with her. It was fun. We sat with a birds eye view of the circus if you know what I mean. It was fun to see the ring master, clowns, lions, motorcycles, and the elephants. It was like stepping back in time 30 years ago, when I would plead with my parents to take me to the circus. Well have now gone and it is a magical time for children and a great expense for adults. (like the $12.00 cotton candy) As we left the Energy Solutions Arena we got to see the elephants as they exited the building. It was neat to see these majestic animals so close up. Anyways it would have been fun to take my own offspring, however I am still trying to do the whole prince charming thing.

It was such a nice time to have the majority of my family together. We had a pregame party at my house and then we ventured out to the game. The game was so fun and we all had a great time. Fresh eggs anyone?

This was in Germany at an open air market. I guess if you wanted fresh eggs and you waited long enough you could have one....yes that is a real Chicken.

Sleepy Time!!

All I have to say is have you seen the movie European Vacation. I was so tired of driving in the car. But it was well worth the drive.

Open air markets.

I love shopping in Europe. Anyone can buy anything they could think of in these open air markets, and then go home to America to brag about what they bought outside.. We need more of these artistic markets in the US. Maybe I could sell my furniture from DI!!

Amsterdam

This is a little old, however the city was Amazing, Tell me why I live in Ugly Orem that is beyond me.

And we all wonder why I have a trainer????

The food in Europe is Amazing, that is why Gloria my trainer now has a new client. But it was worth every bite.. HA

The catch of the day!

This is my niece Leah! My parents bought fishing poles at the dollar store for all of the grandkids. And I must say they caught a huge fish with this fishing pole. So much for expensive sporting goods!

Frodo

How cute is this dog! I want him, however he is my brothers. Dang it

Have I told you lately that I love MOTORCYCLES!!

This was one of the many wonderful motorcycles that I saw up in New Hampshire this summer. Maybe I will find a man oneday to take me on a ride on the back of a Harley..Hmm I can hardly wait.

All in the Family

This is the clan. I think everyone is there in my family. Don't you worry I still have the biggest hair. What was I thinking.

Flowers anyone???

This was the day my Mother and I decided that we were florist all the sudden. It was so funny because we had $500 dollars of flowers in the back of my Mom's Subaru and we kept killing the flowers. Maybe I should stick with my day job.

New Hampshire June 2008

This is one of my many nieces that came to New Hampshire with my family this summer. Yes she is cuter than your nieces.  Wait maybe oneday I will post photos of my own kis.. Stay tuned that might take awhile..

Wedding Bells

This year a ton of things have gone on in my family.. One of the newest additions was my Sister in Law Anarcedalia Cornejo. She married my brother at the beginning of May. They got married in the Washington DC temple. My Uncle was the lucky one who was able to seal them. It was a neat day. Maybe oneday I can post pictures of my own my own wedding. Oh but wait I do already have bridals ( thanks Jessie )

Please Smile Sir

This was at the President's Palace in Prague.. Yes they have gaurds. I asked the gaurd to smile. I even gave him an example, but he ignored me so I just took the photo anyways

So this is the start of a new year. As many of you know I went to Europe at the end of February. I met my mom and dad there, and my neice and my brother came with me from Utah. This photo is from a really neat shop in downtown Prague. Apparently these puppets are the thing to have. I wanted on soooooo bad, however they wanted my arm and leg to buy one so I thought that I needed my arm and leg more then the puppet.

Don't Worry, I'm Alive

Jessie took some portraits of me. More to come....
