ONE YEAR AGO

A Year ago (yesterday) Michael proposed to me at Tony Grove. WOW what an amazing year it has been. I'm so glad I was able to marry my best friend. It was kind of a deja vu weekend. A year ago on Saturday Michael went down to Salt Lake to ask permission and pick up the ring, then that night we went to the Demolition Derby. Then Sunday after church we thought that it would be fun to go up to Tony Grove, which is where he popped the question.

NOW A YEAR LATER Michael and I went down to Salt Lake for a wedding then made it back up to Logan for the Demolition Derby and then Sunday after church went up to Tony Grove this time it was with friends.....maybe will have to make this a tradition

Beautiful Tony Grove the leaves are about 25% changed! YAY I LOVE THE FALL

So Kaitlyn told the boys to prove themselves REAL men and knock over this tree.....however when going up to it they found that the tree grew that way! So....they didn't knock it over

Same place where 1 year earlier Michael proposed

Friends: Dan, LJ, Kaitlyn, Bryan
Bryan didn't get the memo that it was going to be a cute smiling picture

Skipping rock competition between the boys

Great Sunday!

Wedding and Demolition Derby

This weekend on Friday night we had one of Micheal's good friends wedding dinner and then ceremony on Saturday at the Bountiful Temple. It's always great to see our friends get married and now to be able to attend the temple and see the sealing myself. Such a wonderful spirit inside. Another cool thing while we were waiting to be called to go into the sealing President Uchtdorf walked by and went into a room, no he never came in and talked to us but we definitely saw him. Then we didn't go to the reception that night because my family actually came to Logan for the weekend. My Aunt and Uncle Kirk and Jennie invited everyone up to see the house they had been working on and then for the Demolition Derby. Yes that is right the family went to the Demolition Derby and what is even greater about that it was my parents anniversary haha at least it was with family.

A Weekend of Babies

On Thursday night Michael and I started tending David and Mandi's 3 Children. 1 five year old and twin almost one year olds. Some may call us crazy but it was a blast. Madi (5year old) was bored out of her mind and just wanted to play with her cousins that also live here in Logan so when they all got out of school of Friday she went over there and then Bryan and Lindsay watched her all weekend. So we mostly just had the twins. We had so much fun. We miss them :( We were so excited to see them last weekend even if it was just a bit.

Bottle Time!!!!

playing on the couch (Michael is going to make such a great dad one day)

Our Niece Lexie came over and helped with the twins one night. Thanks Lexie you were a great help with bath time!

Logan....isn't he just so cute? a trouble maker but cute

Kaitlynn is one of the happiest babies ever and usually just so content! I thought this picture was ADORABLE of her playing with her toy and I was playing peek-a-boo with her

So much fun! Come and see us anytime. :)

BACK

We are officially back in Logan....and boy it feels nice to be living back at home and back in my own kitchen, but with being back also brings back school. This semester is going to be a rough one for Michael lots of homework and as for me I'm student teaching so it's not like I'm not going to be busy either, but if we both manage our time it shouldn't be too bad.

Our first weekend back we went home, haha, but first to Bear Lake with friends. We first got some good ol raspberry shakes yummy :) then went onto the beach played frisbee....until it broke....flew kites in the dark and played in the water. It was crazy so I'm flying the kite and there are these 2 bats that just keep hitting the kite string they would fold up then fly in a circle and hit the string again....haha it gave some of us entertainment.

We headed down to Salt Lake after church and went and saw the progress of the bishop cabin. It's looking good, excited to have it finished so we can use it in the summer and winter!!! Got to love close get a ways

The real reason #1 that we went down to Salt Lake was because our 4th nephew was born in the last week and we wanted to meet the little guy. Sorry no pictures I kinda spaced it while there. But we were excited we got to meet Ty Ventura. He was a cutie

Then real reason #2 that we went down is my oldest brother is engaged and we had a BBQ for the two families to meet and get to know each other. So it was great to meet Kaite's family and we are so excited to have her apart of the family.

All-in-all it was a great weekend. Able to spend time with both sets of family and a nice day off :)

Tuesday was my first official day of student teaching. The begining of the end becasue once this is over I will be graduated and out looking for a job. It should be a good year. I will probably take my first class on Monday....YEIKES..... no it shouldn't be to bad but still
