Well, this week over at BBTB2 the challenge is

all about Birthdays!

May is my Birthday Month, so I had no

problem with creating a fun card!

I just love this present cut from Everyday Pop-Up Cards.

I chose papers from my Scrap Stash

and my sentiment is from Fiskars.

I added a few pink flat back pearls for

embellishment and think it turned out pretty cute.

Well, it is May, can you believe it?!?!

In desperation for the snow to stop here where I live,

I decided to chose a Spring Theme for the challenge

For my card, I decided to follow a sketch from Paper Play Sketches.

I used the Bee from Garden Soup - I really love that cartridge!

My papers are from DCWV and used a paper flower

and some pearls for embellishments.

BBTB2 - Arbor Day / Trees

Welcome to another fun week over at BBTB2!

Today's challenge is all about Trees!

I used this fun tree from Straight From the Nest.

Once again I searched through my scrap stash

for all my papers and came up with this layout.

I used my Large Corner Rounder from Hobby Lobby

and some jewel embellishments.

Paper Play Sketches 39 - Thank you!

Happy Wednesday!

Okay, so it has been a LOOOOONG time since

I have linked up to another blog's challenge...

I have been so busy with life,

I barely get things done on time

for the Design Teams I'm currently on.

So this is a BIG moment ;)

Anyway, I started up watching some of CardzTV's videos,

another thing I haven't done in quite a long time,

and how can you not be inspired and motivated to create

after watching Mary, right?!?!

Her latest video is for the blog

Paper Play Sketches.

I really liked the simplicity of the sketch

and wanted to give it a go.

So here is a Thank You card I made.

I used CardzTV's "Many Thanks" stamp set

for the sentiment.

The flower is cut from Accent Essentials.

I cut it at 1 1/2 inches with a shadow.

You can't tell in the pic,

but the white paper I used has a

shimmery/glossy finish.

It's a perfect match for the glittery flowers

in the background paper.

A fun little jewel was ideal for

the center of the flower.

My background paper is DCWV and

the middle mat is from My Mind's Eye.

The banner was from my scrap stash.

This card came together super quick

and I really like the clean and simple look to it.

BBTB2 - Banners

Happy Monday!

Today over at BBTB2 a new challenge

has started where we want you to

feature a banner or sign.

I decided to make an unconventional wedding card.

The banners can be found on the Art Philosophy cart.

I played around with some of my scraps

and came up with this layout.

and I used two brads to hang it from.

My Project:

I was able to use this adorable cut from our sponsor

for my card today. I also used Art Philosophy to

cut out a shadow scallop for the ladybug to sit upon.

I used some fun spring papers from my stash and

added cute little flower buttons for embellishment.

My faux stitching was done with a White Gel Pen.
