Hi bestie fans,

Let me introduce myself, My name is Miranda Bouhof, 35 years old and  married with Marco. We have 2 kids, a girl Nancy, 9 years old and a boy Mike, 6 years. We lived in Eerbeek,a small village in the Netherlands.

Scrappen is not only my hobby but it really is my passion! Of the “cute stamps” tot  the vintage style, I love it!
When I besties for the first saw it, I was immediately way, super nice pictures in a variety of themes.
Love excited I was when I was at the end of last year was asked to take part in the dutch bestie in-house design team , it was a crown on your work.
At the beginning of this year there was a DT call in challenge for the bestie 3d deco style sheets. It seemed like it to do and took a chance. Pleasantly surprised I was when I was selected for this team!
With pleasure and love, I make the bestie creations!
Still a crown on my work is that I was in the Norwegian design magazine come to stand, which in July. Of course, with a bestie card and something in the vintage style.

I am a hairdresser and give scrap-workshops e.g. by scrap and co, a scrapbook store in Klarenbeek, there are also many creations of me to actually watch.

Hello and welcome to Besties UK ... today we have a special guest from Australia ... Please give a very warm welcome to Pauline ....

Hi Peeps, 

My name is Pauline and I live in The beautiful sunny Brisbane , Australia. I am 58 years young and getting younger by the day. I am a mum of 4 grown children and eight grandchildren.

With them all having flown the nest it was time to do something exciting with all my free time. So, I took up making cards. I have been very much involved with all kinds of craft ranging from paper tole, embroidery and quilting for many years and just can't seem to quench my appetite for something new. I have only been on the design team for a few months after I discovered these gorgeous big eyed beauties, and had to colour them up. Sherri spotted me and asked me if I would consider being on the design team.

I was rather surprised as I had not considered my cards to be worthy of such a task. Well wonders never cease and here I am turning them frequently. You just can't help yourself, when Sherri keeps coming up with all these new little dolls. I am sure she must dream ideas and rush to get them out when she wakes up.

I try to keep my cards to a 6" design as it makes it easier to post them . I love putting lace and flowers on my cards, and dies, well I have an obsession with them and look for any spare space to add another.

I hope you like my cards and would love to have you come over to have a peep at my blog and join up with me. I am new to blogging , my goodness it is quite a task and I am still trying to figure it all out. Hope yet for a grandma like me . Andrea - Our Guest from Germany

Good morning and welcome back to the Besties UK blog .. we are delighted to have a visitor today from the Besties Friendship Blog - Andrea please give her a very warm welcome.....

My name is Andrea and I am on the "My Besties Friendship" Design team. I'm a big fan of the wonderful My Besties images and it gives me a lot of fun to color them and to put it on my projects in scene.




Now a little about myself.

I live in North Rhine-Westphalia in Germany. I am happily married and have no children. But I am educator by profession. I work in a kindergarten. There, I am responsible for 25 children. My job gives me a lot of fun. Although it's sometimes very loud and wild.

To relax and to compensate, I'm very happy to work creatively in my spare time.

I experiment a lot and I also like different stamp techniques to try out,.

It gives me a lot of fun to put the stamp motifs in scene or introduce them as a design point of a packaging or other things. Also I like a challenge. 
I enjoy to work with a sketch. It's fun, the different materials, as designer paper, cardstock, Flowers, ribbon, lace, stamp motive, etc. to put together, and then a card create with these materials.

Other hobbies are different crafts techniques such as knitting socks, crocheting flowers and snow crystals, Hardanger, cross stitch and occhi.

Likewise, I love everything about motorcycling. Together with my husband and friends, we love it, to make a motorcycle tour.

I hope you can make a picture of me and my person.. I consider myself very lucky that I can be active as a guest designer here. Of course, I have for you, even a work of inspiration myself .... In keeping with the summer I create a pool card with the sweet girl and the floating tire. I hope you like it

Hi my name is Wendy Walters I am a Parchment Craft Pattern designer and Tutor of over 10 years.  I am interested in many different crafts and enjoy combining them to make unique designs.

I am married and live in Nottinghamshire England.

I have used the PurpleSeas Bestie which can be purchased here  and below I have listed the materials and techniques I have used to create this project.

Materials.

Parchment craft paper

Mapping Pen & White ink

Embossing mat

Embossing tools: Fine ball & Micro Sun.

Distress Marker Pens & Blending pen

Techniques:

Tracing with white ink

Fine line embossing.

Adding colour to parchment paper.
