For one of our online crop in January, Denise challenged us by providing a picture from OFCD and to use this picture using this sketch, #80 from Sketch Savvy (by Susan Stringfellow) I was not able to participate for this online crop but of course I promised I will play... And now it is March and that I finally played this challenge, Thank you Denise and Sharlene for your patience!
For the obviously reason, this sketch is a perfect opportunity for using scrap papers. Seeing that I was wearing the "orange" top so I decided to go for the orange background and went through my "orange" scrap paper drawer and managed to find some nice orange patterned papers. I also pulled out some navy blue cardstocks as Sharlene and Denise's t-shirts were blue.
I also am playing this for DT, Jayne's Crafty challenge, paper piecing at the Two Scrapbook Friends. The owl and turtle are paper pieced. It is always fun to create something by putting pieces together after cutting them up on the cricut machine. For the owl and turtle, I stayed with the colour, orange and blue.
