The pop singer Fergal Sharkey who is chief executive of British Music Rights denies accusations by the Open Source Group's that proposed internet piracy curbs will target the innocent.

The Digital Britain Report commissioned by the government includes a pledge to curb unlawful file sharing by giving regulator Ofcom new powers to identify persistent pirates.
