China lost their way after Yao fouled out

China's hopes of progress at the World Basketball Championship suffered a huge blow with a 90-87 overtime loss to Puerto Rico in Group D in Japan.
Houston Rockets centre Yao Ming scored 29 points but fouled out with almost five minutes left as China squandered a 10-point lead in the fourth quarter.
Dwyane Wade scored 20 points as the United States defeated Slovenia 114-95 to clinch their progress from Group D.
Leandro Barbosa missed two free throws as Turkey beat Brazil 73-71 in Group C.
After their third defeat in three games China must now beat Senegal and Slovenia to have any chance of survival.
"We relaxed too much," said China's Lithuanian coach Jonas Kazlauskas.
"We had some very bad minutes and that killed us."
Puerto Rico moved closer to the last 16 with Elias Ayuso scoring 27 points and Carlos Arroyo 25 to secure a second win in three games.
Also in Group D, Italy took their third straight win, scoring 14 unanswered points in the fourth quarter to beat Senegal 64-56.
In Group C, Lithuania finally drew a line under their nightmare start to the 24-team tournament by pulverising Qatar 106-65, Ksystof Lavrinovic scoring 20 points.
Also in Group C, Nikos Zisis nailed a three-pointer with two seconds left to give European champions Greece a 72-69 win over Australia.
Australia led by three points with 19 seconds to go only to see the match snatched from their grasp with Antonis Fotsis bagging a three-pointer with nine seconds left before Zisis won the game.
Greece have won all three of their matches while Australia have won just one and face a key match against Lithuania next.
