山东省农科院与塞内加尔在农业领域的合作源远流长，主要集中在花生科技领域。早在1988年双方就开展了花生种质资源和技术的交流，随后山东省农科院的花生品种和技术也在塞内加尔得到了推广应用。法耶总统在山东农科院详细了解山东在粮经作物、果树、畜禽等领域的最新研究成果后表示十分期待未来双方能在农业科技合作上取得更多成果。
The cooperation between Shandong Academy of Agricultural Sciences and Senegal in the field of agriculture dates back a long time, mainly focusing on peanut technology.
