I realized that I had not update the what's up thing since my last post in February 2021. That's almost 7 months. Lot's of things had occured during that period of time. Just giving some that I thought were important enough to recall back.
1. Covid 19. Me and my family were tested positive. Me, my wife and my two kids aged 12 and 9. I had to be sent to the hospital as my oxygen level was dropping. 6 days in the hospital that was full with covid patients was an experience I would not forget. This was in July 2021.
2. Booked a new scooter but it seems that the factory is struggling to assemble all the bikes that were booked. The factory had actually need to close down for a few months due to covid19. Now it seems not being able to recover fast. I don't see I would get my scooter this year or maybe the first 6 months of next year. I don't mind because it was not my priority in the first place. I admit I still love my powerful 150cc moped. I might changed my mind if that factory still could not cope it's production. I do think their management are taking things lightly.
3. My workplace had two vaccine centers and I was assigned to one of it. It's really nice to join in the team as I would be directly contributing to my country in the fight against covid. Suddenly I became part of frontliners. I received both my vaccine doses here.
4. Finally serviced my SUV eventhough the mileage was far beyond the limit. This is due to our country's lockdown where we can't really go out far from home.
5. Bought Dyson vacuum cleaner few months ago. Being using it almost daily and it did not disappoint me and the wife. Besides the hefty price, everything is on the positive side.
6. Tried to repair my son's tablet. Went to Samsung Service Center and they told me that the tablet is obsolete discontinued product, so Samsung did not produce the spare parts anymore.
7. Just recently I recovered almost completely from the effect of Covid. Those post covid syndrome are real.
