FALL FUN

Hey there, I think I've overloaded you on gift card holders and matching gift bags, so how about a project that focuses on coloring?  I recently made my very first Whimsy/Wee Stamps purchase...this stamp was one of them.  I'm really excited to finally color a Sylvia Zet image!  How stinkin' cute is that dragon playing in the fall leaves?  Love!

The image was stamped with Tuxedo Black onto Neenah card stock then colored with Copic markers.  I have to say, it was a little challenging to match the blue/green color of the dragon to the Doodlebug paper!  I am really happy with the result though!  I kept the design CAS (clean and simple) by adding a few banners and a single Taylored Expressions acorn die cut.  The acorn was cut from Neenah then colored with Copics.  The pieces were adhered together then shaped using a stylus and soft mat before being popped up on foam.

COPIC COLORING:

GIFT BAG TRIO

Hey there, I'm back tonight to show you the matching gift bags to the gift card holders that I shared this morning.  Gotta love those Taylored Expressions dies...am I right???

Here's another peek at the gift card holders...

I made the sweet little reindeer bag the same way as the gift card holder.  The cheeks and ears have pink chalk ink that was rubbed on with my finger.  The nose was shaped with a stylus and soft mat to give it a nice curve before it was popped up on foam.  The ears were also shaped with a stylus.

TAYLORED EXPRESSIONS SPOTLIGHT: TAG POCKET

Hey there, I've got a super quick spotlight project to share with you this morning.  I'm totally loving the new Tag Pocket and created this little gift tag holder with it.  My son won't be home for Christmas this year, so I want to send him a gift card.  I know a gift card isn't necessarily that special, but we all know it's all about the presentation...am I right?

Since it is for my son, I wanted to keep it simple.  The Tag Pocket and Snowflake Cutting Plate were both cut from red card stock.  A glittery bow, cut from the Mix & Match Bows die, and a glittery brad brings interest to the project without making it too feminine.  Tag Stacklets 1 was used to cut pattern paper for the pullout tag.  An eyelet and ribbon completes the project...I hope he likes it!
