Clean and simple are a challenge for me... so here is my attempt for the CAS{E) this Sketch's weekly sketch challenge..Inked up my feathers stamp set and borrowed my cardmaking bestie's sentiment stamp...voila..My own colour challenge this week: Cool Cabana, Old Olive and Crumb Cake!

Halloween Anyone? ..It's a Winner

So it's card challenge day and today's card is a couple challenges...the Create with Connie & Mary's colour challenge: Tangerine Tango, Crushed Curry & Basic Black; and The Paper Plunge's create a fall card challenge...I'm also going to enter into the Stampin Up Only Challenge's colour theme: Fall.  Love the batty owls combined with the mosaic embossed pumpkin!

Definitely a *girly* card....

So I had the Retrosketch`s sketch challenge whispering at me and than my cardmaking bestie found this awesome colour challenge from Always Playing with Paper's The Challenge : Melon Mambo, Basic Grey, Basic Black & White.... Just love the challenges as we take the opportunity to 1) INK up our beloved stamps and 2) experiment with our ink pads and 3) make a dent into our cardstock stashes...before the colours retire...

My fave thing about this particular card...the single layered stamped butterfiles on vellum...

Terrific Tuesdays.....

Back to regular programming...and chilling with my cardmaking bestie....add a couple challenges here there...chatter here and there and voila!!! So I combined the CAS Colours & Sketches' colour challenge: Basic Black, Whisper White & Hello Honey with Sketch Frenzy Friday`s sketch challenge... Both are new to me challenge blogs...

Bit of a bummer...as you can't see the modern mosaic embossing on the black layer..maybe if I get a chance to take a picture in better lighting...mind you..we're in for a week of lovely rain... :( so maybe not... I guess we'll just have to imagine the beautiful embossing... ;)

Dreaming of a White.....

So I've been cooped up since last Saturday evening as  a nasty cold has hit me with full force...Usually Tuesday is my stamping gig with my cardmaking bestie but that didn't happen as I am still feeling like crap for most of the day and still wanted to lay low... We were going to work on some card challenges so I decided that I would give it a shot at my very first ever.. Fab Friday's colour challenge: whisper white and gold....Took me forevah to create as my head feels like it's in a fog.... Pleased with how it turned out!
