A single challenge...a first for me..Create with Connie and Mary's sketch challenge..
Decided to go with a Masculine Birthday card to build up that stash..a colour combo: Island Indigo, Basic Grey, Smokey Slate, Coastal Cabana & Whisper White ..a couple embossing folders..a strip of designer paper..and a spattering of stars..guy bling...Voila!

Today's recipe...Colour Q's colour challenge ~ Coastal Cabana, Melon Mambo, Kraft, Poppy Red and White combined with CAS??? Watercooler Wednesday's latest challenge is CAS Birthday....CAS being Clean and Simple..which is quite the challenge for me as I love lots of dimensions on my cards...I stamped, coloured and fussy cut the bear with his balloons..Stamped *Happy Birthday* on the Coastal Cabana layer and than embossed with my fave clouds embossing folder. Used the brand new to me ~ Wink of Stella..to add a bit of sparkle.. (not sure I'm a lover as I found the brush tip difficult to work with for detailed accents or perhaps I just need more practise! ;) Layered the balloons before adhering to the Coastal Cabana clouds...Voila!

Up next on the roster...Sunday Stamps' latest sketch challenge combined with Christmas Card's photo challenge....Swapped out the circles for snowflakes on the sketch and from the photo inspiration...used some red glimmer paper for a base layer for a tad of sparkle..Inked, coloured and punched out the snowman...Die Cut and punched the snowflakes..added the pattern paper from the stash to showcase the snowman and the snowflakes...Voila!..
EDIT: I won...I was one of the Sunday Stamps' Top Cups!!! What a great surprise...totally made my day. Thank you to Annette and the Sunday Stamps DT. :) OMG...a double whammy.. I was chosen as one of the Christmas Card Challenges' Top 3 Winners...Great way to end the day!! Thank you for the inspiration and the win to the Christmas Card Challenges DT. :)

Not sure why..I can whip up a Christmas card...easy peasy...but all other cards...I struggle with...and they seem to take me forever and a day to create one...so this card has been in the making since the weekend and I finally finished today...phew...
I combined three challenges:
Create with Connie and Mary's colour challenge: Mossy Meadow, Soft Suede & Watermelon Wonder
Paper Craft Crew's Tic Tac Toe Challenge: Sequins, Feminine and Die Cuts/Punches, with
As You See It's sketch challenge... used the dahlia flower as the main center image, downsized the butterflies and went with a shaker box instead of a tag as I didn't have any matching ribbon to finish a tag...dry embossed with two different folders ~ the two different Soft Suede layers..
Well maybe it was not the theme itself but perhaps combining three challenges that gave me some grief....hhhmmmm....lightbulb moment.. ;) Anyways without further to do....Voila...

A duo challenge..Just Add Ink's latest challenge ~ Just add *E*....My *E* is the Easter bunny as I needed a card for a special someone and new to me challenge blog ~ the Card Concept's picture inspiration ~ went with the clean& layered style...Lots of punches here and there...a couple hours later, finished with some of those coveted paper flowers and pattern paper from eons ago... Voila!

Another duo challenge: Christmas Card's challenge of *Anything Goes* theme with SugarPea Designs' sketch challenge....inked up the snowman and his wagon..coloured and added a shaker box...sprinkled some sequins here and there and Voila!

Just Add Ink's colour challenge ~ Blackberry Bliss, Rich Razzleberry & Tip Top Taupe, and Can You Case It's choose 3 colours + neutral challenge ..
I didn't have the new Birthday Blooms set so had to settle with my Stippled Blossoms, Celebrate Today and Kinda Eclectic sets..fell In love with the colour combo when I saw it and just have to give it a shot..So dry embossed the Tip Top Taupe panels with 2 different embossing folders. Embossed the white sentiment on the Rich Razzleberry strip..two step stamped the rose with Rich Razzleberry and the leaf branch with Tip Top Taupe...added a shaker with the Blackberry Bliss circle frame window..just because I wanted to pizzazz the card up..added white and gold as my neutrals... and Voila!

Paper Craft Crew has another great sketch challenge and here's my take...of course, being on a Christmas card kick...and a slight shaker obsession...Started with some red glimmer paper for the base...inked, coloured and fussy cut the Snowman image..Decided to make a sentiment shaker box with sequins and beads..opted out of the thread swirls as I couldn't find find my linen thread.. added some Gel-Soft Glitter Snowflake stickers..Voila!

Up next...double challenge: Color Throwdown's Challenge ~ orange, yellow, green & white with Can You Case It's Elizabeth's Sketch Challenge, flipped the sketch vertically for placement. Working on Birthday cards....so went through the paper stash..inked, coloured and fussy cut the little girl..added a shaker balloon with a tail banner and flags.....Voila!

Needed a 1st Birthday card for a special someone...and Just Add Ink's challenge: Just Add Numbers was great inspiration to get my creativity going..Going to enter SugarPea Designs' Birthday Bash celebration challenge. Okay, started with embossing the white sentiment on the black cardstock to mimic the chalkboard effect....So with numerous punches, a couple embossing folders.a few framelits with the Big Shot and a few hours later ...Voila!...a friendly Birthday Monster sending someone his first Birthday greetings.

Another Christmas card for the stash...a double challenge: Christmas Card's colour combo: Lost Lagoon, Crumb Cake, Pool Party, Real Red & Pretty in Pink with SugarPea Designs' sketch challenge.. Stamped and coloured one of my snowman stamps, who's past life was a dust collector...embossed the Pool Party layer with my fave snowflake background embossing folder..added the pattern paper banner..sprinkled sequins and a shaker box to showcase the Lantern Snowman..Voila!
Can't believe that this is my 50th post so far for 2016..woot..woot...

Thought I would give Watercooler Wednesday's Deborah's sketch challenge a shot. Originally wanted to stay with the rectangle element of the sketch however I didn't have the rectangle dies that would work so I opted to go with the Lots of Labels framelits for the shaker box..just because. Stamped, coloured and fussy cut the snowman image...used some of my fave Christmas pattern papers...added the layered sentiment and Voila!

Another duo challenge: Pals Paper Arts' Patti's sketch challenge combined with ColourQ's latest colour combo: Basic Gray, Bermuda Bay, Island Indigo, Whisper White and Brilliant Blue...Brilliant Blue was retired awhile ago so I substituted Pacific Point...The colours had me stumped at first; however, I think I managed to pull it off with this Old Fashioned Snowman..not the traditonal Christmas colours but decided to go with it...stamped the coat onto Pacific Point and fussy cut to layer onto the snowman...added a strip of the coveted retired pattern paper..painted the wooden snowflake embellishment (the circle element in the sketch that I moved to the right side of the card)..embossed the Bermuda Bay layer with my fave snowflake embossing folder...threw in the shaker box for good measure and Voila!!

Just a couple more challenges...Sunday Stamps' colour challenge: Pink, Chocolate & White and Paper Craft Crew's sketch challenge. Inked up a vintage stamp..coloured and fussy cut. Embossed the pink background and the chocolate strip...Added some houndstooth pattern paper for the shaker box..punched out some stars from Melon Mambo for some more pink...Layered my sentiment for some dimension..Voila!!

The latest challenge...Paper Craft Crew's colour challenge: Lost Lagoon, Blackberry Bliss, Smokey Slate and Old Olive..and to use 3 of the 4 colours...I just went for it and used all 4...
My inspiration started with the Stampin Up catalog, page 105 and I added my touches...changed from a horizontal to a vertical card..added the layers..the embossed honeycomb Smokey Slate ...doubled up the die cut butterfly..added the Blackberry Bliss Banner ..stamped, embossed, hexagon punched and layered the Happy Birthday TO YOU sentiment..sprinkled some sequins..and Voila!!
