Merry Christmas...**Paper Craft Crew & Creative Knockouts Winner**

Another duo challenge..Paper Craft Crew's sketch challenge combined with Creative Knockouts' Anything Goes - Star Stampz. I revived one of my fave background stamps ~ Dictionary and used a couple *retired* sets. Finally got a chance to use the Snowflake collage die and of course..upped the ante with a shaker box.. Coloured one of my fave Snowman stamps and layered. Think I might need to recreate with a red, silver and white colour combo...or even a pink, silver and white colour combo..Use up some of the craft stash and rebuild my seriously depleted Christmas Cards stash. Finished the card with sprinkling a few sequins and Voila!

Deets: All Stampin Up except for Snowman image and Snowflake collage die.

**EDIT: Great news...lovely Tuesday evening news...my card was chosen as one of the TOP PICKS for the Paper Craft Crew sketch challenge. How exciting and a great way to end a busy busy day. Thank you to the Paper Craft Crew Design Team for choosing my card. :)**

This card was definitely the lucky charm as I was also the winner at Creative Knockouts' Anything Goes challenge...I've won 3 digi images from Starz Stampz..so exciting! Thank you to Creative Knockouts for the inspiration and prize. :)

Thanks for dropping by and having a peek at my card.

Merry Christmas...

So I am trying to replenish my depleted Chirsmtas card stash before the season is upon us.
Decided to try Jaydee’s sketch from The Paper Players to start the creativity. I'm on a vintage colour scheme as of late...pink, silver and crumb cake..combined with my love of snowmen...coloured the image with Copics, fussy cut and used foam tape to give the little snowman some dimension... Voila!

Deets: All Stampin Up except for the Snowflake pattern paper and the snowman image.

Thanks for popping by and having a peek at my card.

Smiles.

*WWC189 - Heidi's "All About Holidays" Challenge

Welcome Back everyone...week 3 of the Watercooler Wednesdays Challenge as Guest Designer. This week's challenge is Heidi's "All About Holidays" and  one of my most fave holidays to design and create cards for is ....CHRISTMAS.  My most fave Christmas colour  combination with a vintage theme is: pink, silver and crumb cake. Coloured the snowman family, added dazzling diamonds and stamped the crumbcake snowflakes accented the centres with a shimmery gel pen. Toss in a shaker box for good measure and Voila!

Deets: All Stampin Up except for the Snowmen stamped image, Making Memories pattern paper & silver foiled wooden snowflake from the craft stash.

Merry & Bright....

So excited that I am able to make some cards and build up the Christmas card stash of mine. Used Sunday Stamps' latest sketch challenge...to kick start the inspiration for the card. Decided my brand new Merry&Bright die was the perfect match for the sketch . The diecut was a bit finicky to release the pieces after it was cut so, next time,  I might try using the metal shim and perhaps that will render a clean crisp diecut with the red glimmer paper... Dry embossed the white layer with my fave Snowflake background embossing folder...tossed in the shaker box to kick the card up a notch...Voila!

Deets: All Stampin Up except for Merry&Bright steel die, Snowman stamped image and Snowflake background embossing folder.

Thanks for dropping by to have a peek at my card.

Deets: All Stampin Up except for Snowman and sentiment image, Snowflake embossing folder and the middle strip of pattern paper.

Welcome back everyone to my second week as a Guest Designer for the Watercooler Wednesdays' Challenges. This week is Helen's Masculine "Anything Goes" Challenge. Masculine cards are one of the hardest cards to design as you need to keep bling to a minimal and the put the frilly touches aside. Needing a special birthday card..I decided to try the pop and twist card to up the game! ;) I layered the Happy Birthday Diecut for a shadowed image....Had to add some gold glimmer paper..just because it's a pretty special Birthday..smattering of balloons...and Voila!

Deets: All Stampin Up except for pattern paper inside from my stash.

Please check out the Design Team's inspiration and take a minute or two to leave some blog love. Thanks for dropping by and see you next week.

*Wishing you all the joys...JAI Honourable Mention..

Left: Back of Easel Card, Right: Front of Easel Card

So I'm trying to get out of a creativity slump..had these snowmen images sitting around and decided to put them to good use. This will be a Hat trick challenge: 1) Just Add Ink's sketch challenge 2) Christmas with the Cuties'  ~ The Cutest Snowmen challenge  and 3) the Holly and Ivy Christmas Challenge. Coloured the snowmen images and I haven't made a shaker card forever so decided to try one for this card. I made  this card twice as the first one..I glued the image upside down..and the fix..turned the card into a back easel card.. Gave it another shot and would you believe??.I did the same thing..yet again..I give up..some days are just not meant for creating... Anyways here are my versions of a *back easel* card.

Deets: Spellbinders Heirloom die, unknown Snowman trio stamped images, Making Memories patten paper, Stampin Up card stock and glimmer paper

**EDIT: The Just Add Ink Design Team has chosen my card as one of the Honourable Mentions for their sketch challenge. What great news to wake up to on a Thursday morning! Thank you for the wonderful sketch to jumpstart my Christmas card!**
If anyone knows which company makes the Snowmen trio stamp, please let me know.

Thanks for dropping by and taking the time to leave some blog love.

WWC187 - Kath's "All About Occasions" Challenge

Hello everyone, Some great news...Watercooler Wednesdays have asked me to participate as a Guest Designer for the next four weeks. I've particpated in some of their weekly challenges since their inception and was honoured to be asked to contribute. I've been in a bit of a creativity slump, so we're hoping that the challenges will help me out of the funk and get me back to creating. I've always been a "Go BIG or GO Home" kinda gal so I love adding elements or a trying out a non traditional card fold..This week's challenge is Kath's All About Occasions...

Needing a Birthday card..I set off to put a dent in my overflowing cardmaking supplies stash. Love the Happy Birthday die...add the double Z fold and a smattering of balloons..Voila a Birthday card!

Supplies: All Stampin Up :)
Make sure to check for more inspiration over at the Watercooler Wednesday's from the  fabulous Designer Team. Try the challenge and I look forward to seeing your inspiration. See you next week.

Thanks for dropping by.
