TO THE NEW Mr & Mrs...

Just Add Ink's Choose Two Challenge...white and embossing make a great combination for a Wedding card...Chose a white pearlescent cardstock for the detailed floral diecut of the shaker front...a shimmery white textured card stock for the front and framing of the shaker...plus dry embossed the bottom portion for some dimension. Layered the framed shaker on gold glimmer cardstock with a white textured card base. Than for extra touches...stamped and diecut roses with teeny tiny pearls in their centers...a couple of gold sprigs. Wet embossed the gold sentiments on white cardstock and layered the bottom sentiment on gold glimmer cardstock...Finished with wrapping gold and white organza ribbon around the side of the card..Haven't used ribbon on cards in ages.. Voila! Hope the bride and groom like their card.

Merry Christmas Buffalo Plaid

I am loving Karren's sketch from Freshly Made Sketches...and starting on my Christmas cards. My cardmaking bestie lent me her Window Wishes stamp and die set that is no longer available for sale...Perfect sketch to combine the red buffalo plaid pattern paper with the black with white snowflakes pattern paper. Used Red glimmer paper to mat and to die cut the little roof for the house..Dazzling Diamonds for the snow on the ground..a little red frame. Embossed Merry Christmas with white on black card stock..some foam tape for dimension here and there! Voila! Deets: Vintage pattern papers, Window Wishes

Happy Birthday Shaker

Trying this week's sketch over at AHSC...and I am in love with my bestie's Two Tone Flora....going to have to add it to the next order of mine! ;) Loving the window effect and of course a window calls for a shaker box... Had to use the lime green glimmer paper for the bling factor...to make it a little extra special. I love the white embossed "Happy Birthday" on the black cardstock for the *pop* factor.
