Jen B's sketch over at Freshly Made Sketches for the inspiration kickstarter... Stamped and coloured the images from this very vintage red rubber wooden stamp (2004 - gasp)that had never been loved! The sketch is perfect for these *inchies* matted on cardstock. Stamped, coloured and layered the inches along the bottom of the card. Dry embossed snowflakes on the white cardstock layer to give the card alittle more oomph. Started with the traditional red and white colour combination and switched to the Highland Heather and Balmy Blue combo. I had the red ones completed last night but had to try the highland heather colour combo with the silver mat. Voila 4 more cards completed.. 194/240. Nothing like leaving it to the last few minutes on the wire...

Season's Greetings...***WINNER***
So the latest sketch from the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge was a bit daunting when I first looked at it...but I made myself figure it out and I am really happy. The sketch for me was another major scrap pattern paper buster...hands down. Once I sorted out the plan ~ it was a matter of mixing and matching pattern papers. Finished the red matted cards with red and white bakers' twine and tiny red bells and some fir branches on the layered sentiments with foam tape for dimension. The blue colour combinations were simpler with snowflakes and a star topped Christmas tree. My fave is the blue Christmas tree with the snowflake flocked vintage pattern paper. Entering this card for ABC Christmas Challenge with T for the traditional red and green colour cards and Love Those Pretty Papers Challenge with the assortment of different paper lines and pattern papers. And now with these 6 cards...I'm at 190/240 card goal.

Happy Sunday everyone.
EDIT: Well this is awesome news as the AHSC's Design Team chose my cards as one of their top 3 for the sketch challenge. THANK YOU so much for the pick and CONGRATULATIONS to the other 2 winners. THANK YOU for making my day!! Happy Dance happening over here. :)

Snowmen Tags....*WINNER*
I've had this Snowman stamp in my vintage collection (2005) forever and a day that has never seen the light of day or any ink...so I finally inked the stamp up for the Sunday Stamps challenge..perfect. Practicing my colouring and using up the vintage pattern papers in the coveted stash...Can't decide which set I prefer...the blues (which I made first) of the other reds and pinks with the swirling ribbons that finished the tags. Gasp...haven't used ribbon in awhile..All are unique and one of a kind as unfortunately I get bored with identical multiples. Which ones are your fave? Now I'm at 5 + 178 = 183 / 240 personal goal for the year.
Thanks for dropping by to have a peek.
Happy Tuesday.
EDIT: Heather from the Sunday Stamps design team chose my card as her top cup winner "Sheri had me at "vintage snowmen!" Totally adorable!". THANK YOU so much ~ What a wonderful surprise! Congrats to the other winners. Looking forward to the next Sunday Stamps challenge. :)

~ Retro Christmas Trees...
Jen M's sketch over at Freshly Made Sketches for inspiration and Peace On Earth Christmas Challenge's inspiration board for the beautiful bright colours...So I've had this Crate pattern paper with it's retro colour vibes in my craft stash for forever and a day. Found the Christmas tree dies and glimmer cardstock..pattern papers..mixing and matching. Layered the trees and sentiment with foam tape for some dimension. First for me to use up an entire 12x12 sheet of DSP in one sitting. Entering these cards into the monthly Love Those Pretty Papers Challenge , as there were lots of pattern papers happening here. Voila 6 Christmas cards added to the stash and now it's 178/240 personal card challenge.

Trio Mixture...
One of my fave sketch challenge blogs ~ Atlantic Hearts Sketch challenge ..My interpretation of their latest sketch ~ tried different themes...masculine card..Halloween and Christmas... For the masculine card, embossed the decanter and glass of whiskey with clear embossing powder twice for the *glass* look. Love the shadowed and matted sentiments..Voila, 3 more cards added to my card goal and now I am at 172/240 personal challenge. Also a first for me....not leaving it until the ninth hour..LOL..Which one is your fave? :)

Merry & Bright Shakers...*WINNER*
A great sketch challenge from Kim over at Freshly Made Sketches....and so excited to try out the flat shakers' cards and I threw in a regular shaker box for a mix. I upcycled the cellophane packaging from a monthly desk planner and think I can make 15-16 cards out the packaging. Used my vintage pattern papers and sequins mixed with teeny snowflakes and iridescent confetti glitter from my stash. Started with the *merry* and than remembered the Merry & Bright window, which worked perfect for these shakers. Trying to decide which is my fave and it's between the non-traditonal pink card and the green Christmas trees with the silver. Which one is your fave? Four more cards to make it 169 cards of my 240 cards goal.

Happy Monday!
EDIT: OMGee....how exciting that Kim chose my cards as the Freshly Made Sketches' Queen - so honoured and GRATEFUL!
My Queen for this week is Sheri. I love her use of the sketch to do full-size shakers behind her big sentiment. And I also love that when she plays along with us, she often does multiple different cards. It is really fun to look at her variety of cards and see how small changes can make such a big difference. Congrats, Sheri. You are our Queen of Clean!
Thank you for making the day - happy smile for the rest of the day! Congrats to all the other winners with their beautiful cards.
