Baroque Butterflies

Zadnje čase težko in redko najdem čas za objavljanje na blogu. A od časa do časa mi le uspe skupaj združiti ustvarjanje po naročilu in ustvarjanje za zabavo. Eden od takih projektov je bil darilni kompletek, ki sem ga naredila danes. Inspiracijo sem našla v tokratnem "The Play Date Cafe - PDCC173". In nastalo je tole:

It's hard for me to find some time latelly to publish on my blog. But from time to time I still manage to join both orders and creating for fun in the same tasks. One of them was the gift set I created today. I found the inspiration over at this week's "The Play Date Cafe - PDCC173". And this is the gift set that I've made:







Metuljčki so "Inchiji" od Inkadinkadoja, verz pa je iz čudovitega seta "Flourishes - Hearts&Flowers". Metuljčki so pobarvani z akvarelnimi barvicami in vodnim čopičem. Za nakit sem uporabila skrčljivo folijo. Upam, da vam je kompletek všeč. Vesela bom vaših komentarjev! :)

Butterflies are Inchies from Inkadinkado, the sentiment is from a gorgeous stamp set "Flourishes - Hearts&Flowers". The butterflies are colored with aquarel pencils and aquabrush. I used shrink plastic for the jewellry. Hope you like it. I will be happy to read your comments! :)

Our hostess this month is Sasha and she challenged us to create a bookmark. And this is what I came up with:















I was deciding between creating a paper bookmark and creating a metal bookmark. It was sort of a hard decision, since I am a papercrafter by heart :) but still I wanted to make something different and show you maybe another way to use gorgeous Flourishes stamp sets. So I decided for metal bookmark.

The pendants are made from a shrink plastic. I used gorgeous daisy heart from "Hearts & Flowers" set and several single daises cut out of the same image. I colored the centers with "Deep Cadmium" aquarell pencils and aquabrush and shaded with "Naples Yellow" and "Deep Chrome". The petals are colored also with aquarell pencils and aquabrush using two shades of light blue - "Sky Blue" and "Smalt Blue". But you have to be really careful when applying colors to shrink plastic. Less is more, since colors tend to get very intensive when shrunk.

Of course I couldn't resist making a matching card and a matching gift box for the bookmark. And since my dear sister is celebrating her birthday this month I thought the gift set and a good book would be a great present for her.

Ena kratka objavica za danes. Malo sem v gužvi zadnje čase, a sem še uspela stisniti v današnji dan voščilnico, za katero sem navdih črpala v tokratnem izzivu na blogu "The Play Date Cafe PDCC170".

One very short post for today. I am a little bit in a hurry in the last days (or should I say weeks) but I somehow managed to squize in some time for the card I made after this week's color inspiration over at "The Play Date Cafe PDCC170".





Zdaj pa šibam k počitku. Zadnje čase me razne pljučnice in prehladi kar ne pustijo na miru in ko sem že mislila, da sem jih premagala, so se me danes ponovno lotili. Počitek bo dobro del, saj je za mano naporen dan. Želim vam mirno noč in čudovit jutrišnji dan.

Going to get some rest now. Lately I've been catching quite some colds and even pneumonia. They just won't leave me alone and when I finaly thought that I got rid of them, here they are, back again today. I could use some rest and it has been a long and busy day for me today. I wish you all a peaceful night and a gorgeous day tommorrow.

I felt that the colorful bouquet would be a perfect choice for this special occasion so I chose to make a card with Garden Picks. I colored flowers in fresh blue and red with aquarel color pencils and a waterbrush. I added a sentiment from Gerbera Daises Stamp Set.

February Flourishes Beautiful World Tour

Our hostes this month is Iwona and she challenged us to create a card based on her beautiful sketch:

I used the image of gorgeous crysantemum flowers from "A YEAR IN FLOWER 3 STAMP SET". I colored them in Deep Cadmium Yellow and added some interest with Middle Chrome Orange. The leaves are colored with Grass Green and shaded with Olive Green. I am always using watercolor pencils and a waterbrush to color my images. I used quite some patterned papers for this one. I distressed edges with "Frayed Burlap" and pierced them. The main circle and the main image are attached to the card with 3D foam tape to give some dimension to the card. The sentiments are from "GERBER DAISES STAMP SET". I used colors from this week's challenge over at the "Play Date Cafe PDCC167".

Lately I enjoy making unique jewelry to go with a card. I think it makes a lovely birthday gift. So I couldn't resist making a collection of jewelry and a gift box with this beautiful image also. I used a Decopatch Glossy Glue to dress the gift Box. The Jewelry is made using a shrink plastic.

Pink Birthday Gerbera Daisies

Pa se je ponovno našlo nekaj časa za moj blog. :) Nisem pozabila na vse vas, ki me spremljate, a toliko stvari se dogaja v zadnjih dneh. Kar pa ne pomeni, da počivam. Ravno nasprotno, nastaja ogromno novih izdelkov, za katere upam, da vam jih čim prej uspem razkriti. Eden izmed njih je kompletek rojstnodnevne voščilnice in uhančkov "Rožnate Gerbere". Uporabila sem Flourishes štampiljko "Gerber Daisy". Dooolgo sem že imela ogledane njihove čudovite štampiljke, a se jih pri nas ni dobilo, hvala Marini iz Maveluja, ki je uslišala moje želje in jih naročila. :) Uporabila sem barve tokratnega izziva na blogu "Color Throwdown #225". Nastalo je tole:

I finally found some time to publish again on my blog. :) It's not that I forgot about you but so many things is hapenning right now in my life. Which doesen't mean that I don't work. Right opposite. I've made quite a few new things, for which I hope to be able to show them to you soon. One of them is a little gift collection of a Birthday card and earings "Pink Birthday Gerbera Daises". I used Flourishes "Gerber Daisy" stamp set. I waited for looooooong time (way to long if you ask me) to buy their beautiful stamps which weren't sold in our stores. Thanks to Marina from mavelu.com, who has made my wish come true by ordering them. :) I used colors over at "Color Throwdown #225". I made this gift set:

In skupaj s čudovitimi, dolgo željenimi štampiljkami je prišla tudi čudovita novica, ki pa vam je ne morem še razkriti, ampak upam da kmalu. :) Zato ostanite v bližini... :)Uživajte!

Special butterfly card

Že kar dolgo imam doma mini platenčka, ki so me zamikala, nisem pa čisto vedela kako jih uporabiti. In kar nekaj časa že po blogih spremljam čudovite umetnine ustvarjalk, ki izdelujejo čudovita platna z mešanimi mediji. Zadnjič sem tako kar iznenada dobila preblisk in vedela sem, kam bodo mini platenčka romala. Čez vikend sem tako izdelala prve voščilnice, ki sem jih poimenovala kar "magnetne voščilnice. Na voščilnico je pritrjen snemljiv magnetek na mini platnu, ki ga lahko uporabite za pripenjanje najpomembnejših sporočilc na hladilnik, voščilnica pa tudi po odstranitvi magnetka ostane čudovit spomin. Uporabila sem barve tokratnega izziva "The Play Date Cafe PDCC163".

Already some time ago I bought some mini canvases in a craft store. They looked nice but I didn't know quite what to do with them. For a while now I have been following some ladies in a crafters blogoland who are great at making mixed media art canvases. So this saturday I finally get the idea and got right to it. I made a card that I named a "magnet card", which holds a mini canvas magnet that can be separated from the card and used to hold your most important notes on your fridge. And the card still remaind a beautiful keepsake. I used the colors from current challenge over at "The Play Date Cafe PDCC163".

Holiday wreath

Po spet dolgem času (zadnje čase sem zasuta z delom za naročila), spet objavljam eno voščilnico, ki je nastala po navdihu izziva, in sicer tokrat "The Shabby Tea Room challenge Week #142", kjer naj bi uporabili zgolj nevtralne barve. Izdelala sem tole novoletno voščilnico knjigo.

After a long time (lately I am mostly dealing with completing the orders) I am finaly again publishing a card that I made after the inspiration from the challenge, this time "The Shabby Tea Room - Week #142" for which we were limited to use only neutrals. I made this holiday book card.

Tale venček sem izdelala sama in mi je vzel ogromno časa. Iz papirja sem izrezala tri obročke, ki sem jih s 3d blazinicami pritrdila enega na drugega, nato ovolia z rjavo travo in čez še s svetlečimi laski. Dodala sem srce, ki sem ga posula z belimi bleščicami in nanj metuljčka z rjavimi bleščicami. Na venček pa sem dodala nekaj raznobarvnih perlic in nekaj kristalov Swarowski.

This wreath took me some time to get it finished. I cut out three rings from a white cardstock and tape them together with 3D foam tapes. I then wrapped them with some kraft braun grass and with some sparkling threads. I added a heart which I covered with white glitter and a butterfly which I covered with brown glitter. I added some pearls and some Swarowski rhinestones on the wreath.

Upam, da vam je všeč. Želim vam en čudovit preostanek nedelje in pojdite se malo zabavat na snegec. :)

Roses for the Birthday and Mavelu Blog hop with PDCC158 colors

Pripravite se na dooooolgo objavo z veliiiikooo slikami. :) Mogoče bi šle najprej po kavico ali sok ali kaj drugega in šele potem začele prebirati. :) Torej naj najprej povem, da sem vesela in ponosna, da sem del prvega slovenskega Blog hopa. Ja, prav ste prebrale! V naslednjih dneh boste lahko skakljale od ene do druge slovenske ustvarjalke in sodelovale v izzivih in kar je še boljše, prislužile si boste lahko čudovite nagradice. Prepared to take a look what I have today here for you as my very first post as a part of the Mavelu design team? A really big collection of card and jewelry. Everything that lady needs to look gorgeous! ;)

Uporabila sem dve štampiljki s slovenskimi napisi iz trgovinice Mavelu, in sicer iz seta Rojstni dan - set1. Na voščilnici napis "Naj bo tvoj rojstni dan poln iskric in nasmehov" in na darilni škatlici napis "Naj bo vsak trenutek razlog za nasmeh". Iz Marinine trgovinice so tudi papirji "BoBunny - Little Miss" in čudovit urni mehanizem v obliki rožice. Za inspiracijo pa mi je služila tudi tokratna barvna paleta na izzivu "The Play Date Cafe PDCC158".

I used two stamps with Slovenian sentiments from the Birthday set n.1. The sentiment "May your birthday be filled with sparkles and smiles" on the card and the sentiment "Make each moment the opportunity to smile" on the gift box. I also used some "BoBunny Little Miss" papers and a watch in a shape of the flower, both from Mavelu shop. I took the inspiration from this week's challenge over at "The Play Date Cafe Challenge PDCC158".

Zdaj pa te vabim, da se tudi ti pridružiš našemu skakljanju in pripraviš izdelke za izzive posameznih ustvarjalk. Mojemu se lahko pridružiš, če izdelaš nekaj, kar bo vsebovalo rožice. Ostalo prepuščam tvoji domišljiji. Izdelek objavi na svojem blogu, povezavo do izdelka pa dodajte spodaj, na koncu te objave. Ob koncu Blog hopa bom izžrebala 3 nagrajenke, ki bodo prejele eno od spodnjih štampiljk s slovenskim napisom iz trgovinice Mavelu. Čudovito kajne?

Pridih jeseni - An autumn Breeze

Uf... ne morem verjeti... koliko časa je že minilo od moje zadnje objave. Ne, da bi želela blog zanemarjati, a je le bilo toliko enih obveznosti in dogajanja, da je dogajanje tukaj malo obstalo. Tokrat pa se po dolgem času oglašam z eno jesensko kreacijo, za katero je bil navdih tokratni izziv na blogu "The Play Date Cafe Challenge PDCC156".
