"Poppy Love Field" Mixed Media Canvas

Hi dear crafty friends. It is still February, the month of Love and our color challenge here at Lindy's is perfect for it. So for my today's project on their blog I decided to stay on the same topic, just adding some twists to the monthly challenge colors. I've made a mixed media canvas in the shape of a heart with gorgeous Poppies. 

"Stand strong in Faith"

Hi dear crafty friends,

Some of you may noticed, that while I'm publishing new projects almost every day, I was absent for the last few days. Today it is the fourth hard day since we lost my dear dad due to a heart failure. This hit me really really hard, since I allready lost my dear mom not even two years ago due to a cancer. First days I was only sleeping and  running errands trying to take care of everything that needed to be done. But I haven't slept much at night. For the last two nights I've been laying in my bed, staring at the ceiling, trying to understand things, but just couldn't. I've been asking myself why all these evil things are happening and I remembered the story from the Bible how sin entered this world through Adam and Eve beeing tempted by a snake to be disobedient to God and eat an Apple from the tree of Knowledge of good and bad. They were week and did not have enough Faith in God and in the same way I've had issues with keeping Faith and staying strong. But the Bible says that God is faithful and He will not allow us to be tempted beyond what we are able, but will always make the way out of it, so that we will be able to bear it. As long as we Stand Strong in Faith. And from this my today's project was born, bringing me at least a small grain of strength to carry on in this hard days that are still before me. I hope you'll like it!

I owe you one more post which I missed due to my father's death few days ago. Lindy's girls are Guest designing this month over at CSI challenge blog, which is all about layouts, so I made one too. The clues for the challenge were white background, floral pattern, hearts, birds, butterflies, leaves, flowers, animals, hand-drawn look and in the Moodboard photo there was this giant gorgeous chubby bear. I love the colors of the challenge which are so warm and spring-toned. On my layout I went with this gorgeous photos of a little girl playing with her teddybear and I used some gorgeous Lindy's Magicals on the white background. Hope you'll like it and it inspires you to make something yourself. Those cute little cut-out animals, flowers, sentiments are from two latest collections of Bob n Betty India.

"You are perfect" altered vintage mirror

Hi dear crafty friends. 

I'm so in love with this month's Moodboard inspiration over at Mixed media & Art blog challenge, but somehow I just didn't find that perfect idea that would fit! I had tons of it but with each one of them I felt something was missing. Until last night when I actually got the idea and could see the picture of the whole project so clearly in my head. So I could barely wait for today, to make it happen! I have three little children and two of them are girls. You know how things are with girls... they want to be pretty and admired and more they grow up the bigger is their need to get noticed. This are their dreams. So I was inspired to make a vintage shabby chic altered mirror covered with gorgeous flowers and a quote saying "perfect". Our little princesses should know that they are perfect!

"The Story of us - A Love Story" altered vinyl record

Hello dear crafty friends. I'm so happy to be with you again today sharing a project I made with one of my favourite Bob n Betty collections so far - the new Valentines collection "You n I". I love the ilustration in it, I love the color combinations, I love the wordings that come as a special sheet. It is such a perfect collections for so many occasions and so many projects. I decided that my first project I'll be making with it would be an altered vinyl record. I love the result and hope you'll like it too!

Hi dear crafty friends!

I'm on Scrapiniec blog today again and since it is February... a month of Love, I decided to prepare two untipical Love tags, using gorgeous Scrapiniec Steampunk collection. I made them look like "rusty and old Love" but gave her wings to still be able to fly. When time goes by, when gears keep moving the clock's pointers around, the true Love still grows stronger and stronger and flies higher and higher.

Recollect Vintage Moments & Memories

I'm using last hours to enter this months gorgeous challenge over on the More Than Words Challenges blog. The theme this month was Birthday and Tags. So we were suposed to be inspired by the word "Birthday" and use Tags somewhere on our projects. When I saw the new Nitwit collections paper collection "Recollect" I knew right away what I wanted to do. And I had the perfect photo to go along. Photo of a gorgeous little Birthday girl. I incorporated tags with inspirational quotes. Here is my layout I prepared for the challenge.

But there was this photo of a girl holding onto a heart on the tree and the clif between them. I love it and wanted to use it once in my project. And this set of tags was perfect for it.

I'm with you today again sharing my latest layout I created for 7 kids Your crafting supply store. I used bunch of different Prima marketing and Finnabair products, some gorgeous 49 and Market flowers and breathtaking Dusty Attic chipboards. There is also something special on this layout. I used some real 23-karat gilding on top of the Vine Frame chipboards. My inspiration came from this month's Moodboard over at Dusty Attic blog challenge. I'll post the photo of the Moodboard and link to it at the end of this post. I hope you'll like my project.

Lindy's gang January Color Challenge

Hi my dear crafty friends! I'm welcoming you for the first time in new year, year 2018. I hope you celebrated your Holidays nicely, cosy, between all your beloved family and friends. I wish to you that this year would be your best year ever!

My first crafty post for this year is the one, where I'm sharing my first official project for Lindy's gang DT.

With new month there comes also new Color Challenge on the Lindy's gang blog and this times it's gorgeous, perfect for this month! I absolutely love the chosen colors, they are so fresh, but with such an amazing contrast. The Moodboard is amazing and so inspiring. No doubt you'll have tons of ideas going through your mind when you see it!

Today it's my great honour to be Guest Designing over at gorgeous and so inspirational Mixed media & Art blog. The December's Mood board is absolutely gorgeous and I had so much fun playing with it. I loved soft, pastel colors and natural materials that are featured on the Moodboard. And I love to make winter projects as you all know! They are one of my favourite ones! I have a special honour today to be a guest desginer over at Lindy's gang blog. It's such a happy occasion for me! Those who know my work a bit know that I love to make off the page projects. And I love to create stories with them! I tried to do the same with my today's project. I altered a coffee maker which we weren't using anymore and added a cup of coffee and some cupcakes and sweets, all mixed media made. There is everything one needs for a perfect relaxed afternoon with friends.

Winter Porch project for Scrapiniec

Hi dear friends. We had our first snow this week and it was magical. Our kids were so happy. But I realized that the older I get, the more I love watching snow falling through the cosy living room window. I love the look of a white, snowy, peaceful landscape, but I also love to be warm. Also, did you noticed how such afternoons are perfect for crafting ;) And thinking about it, I remembered I have my Scrapiniec porch yet to be dressed in winter mood. So I decided to make it happen! Hi dear crafty friends. I’m so excited to share with you my first post as DT for Bob n Betty India. I fell in love at first sight with gorgeous new paper collection Cottage Blush. First I wanted to make an off the page project but this gorgeous soft collection was just screaming for a delicate layout, so I decided this would be a perfect first project. I chose a photo I had my eyes on for some time now. It’s a gorgeous photo of a little flower girl with a beautiful white horse. Perfect for these soft papers.

Hi dear crafty friends. :) This time I prepared for you something a bit more simple to make. For some time now I've been admiring Altenew products and was kind of in love with them, but I have always seen such a clean projects made with them. Oh boy and most of you for sure know by now I'm not clean and simple style girl :D But I decided anyway to give them a try. And I'm so so over the moon with them now. I made an altered Pringles box lid with them. Please do not ask me where the Pringles ended up. :D Hope you'll like my today's project. <3

Hi my dear friends. I'm on Scrapiniec blog today and I have something different for you today. I was holding some glasses in my hands the other day, that I got somewhere long time ago and never used them. They were some cheap reading glasses. I decided it's time to give them new mission :) And they were a perfect fit for the new Scrapiniec collection.

I can't even describe how I felt seeing my project between the best ones of first stage of Mixed media & art, where I created this canvas with butterfly and scissors. It is a huge huge honour for me. Thank you to all the DT <3

And now to my new project for the Stage 2: "Crystal beauty" where we were chalenged to use transparent material not from scrapbooking and circles in any form. Not long ago I became very thrilled over my "story in a lightbulb" series so I immediately knew I wanted to create another story in a lightbulb. I chose bigger lightbulb round shaped, so that I included circles also. There are also some other circle elements on the project. I added a little girl with wings holding a star on a stick from Stamperia new paper collection "Blue Stars" inside of the lightbulb.

"The world is a canvas" altered brush with Graphic 45 and Lindy's gang

Hi dear crafty friends. Today I'm on 7 kids blog again and I was playing with my belowed Graphic 45 collections again after some time. You can find some of the collections also in 7 kids crafting supply store. Go check it out! I used the gorgeous Nature Sketchbook collections and altered a brush with it. Time traveler with Scrapiniec and Finnabair

Hi dear friends. Today I'm on Scrapiniec blog again and I wanted to show you how fun and easy it is to make off the page projects with two-dimenzional Scrapiniec chipboards. I've made a time machine which I named "Time traveler". I used some of the gorgeous chippies from previous collections as well as several chipboards from the newest "Steampunk", "Focus" and "Believe in magic" collections. And for the base of the time traveler I used Royal Sleigh chipboards. You can see how perfectly they can be used also in non-winter projects. There is a lot of photos today since it is very detailed project and I hope you'll like it! :)

Hi my dear friends... I decided to join special "edition" of a Mixed media and art challenges - Joint project Stage 1 "Mechanical explosion", where we were challenged to use Metal material not from scrapbooking and wings in any form. I got this idea to alter a scissors and when thinking what to combine them with that would have wings I remembered the story I once heard - The story of a butterfly.

Well... I'm continuing my journey here on my blog today with my second blog post. :) It was indeed very productive day ;) I have for you this time a layout I made for this month's challenges over at More than words challenge and Lindy's gang color challenge. I've created a mixed media layout and used amazing photo of Avatar woman as my main element of this layout. I hope you'll like it. :)

Hi dear friends. I'm on 7 kids challenge blog with you today again. I have something lovely and sweet to show you today. This time I was inspired by the latest Finn Team Art recipe which was all about angels, pixies and fairies in a combination with gorgeous Finnabair Patina pastes, Art Stones, Mechanicals and Art Alchemy Waxes. I used them all and made this lovely altered mini violin. Hope you'll like it. :)

Hi my dear friends! :) I'm on Scrapiniec blog today with you again with something very textured. ;) Today's post was actually inspired by a moodboard over at Mixed Media place challenge blog. It was a love at first sight and when thinking about my project I realized that gorgeous Scrapiniec chipboards are just the perfect match for my idea. So I decided to join together the both. 

"Production of Time" altered can-woman

Hi dear friends. I'm at 7 kids challenge blog today and at the same time I'm presenting my project for yet another Itac '17 Tournament challenge - Europe. The main subject of the challenge was The face of the Printmaking. We were challenged to celebrate the multicultural society of Europe, with many different it's faces, which were the source of great inventions and discoveries that have shaped the world, with focusing on Printmaking as one of the important ones. In achieving that we had to use A Face, Papers (newspaper, printed papers,...), Letters and Numbers, Blue for the color of European Union, Ribbon, twine, string or lace, Textures and something both Vintage and Modern. I think I managed to include them all. I made an altered can-woman.
