Tyce Turns 1!!!!

My little Tyceroo is 1! His birthday was on July 31st and we celebrated it in Eagle Crest. I didn't go all out, no cake or balloons, but I don't think Tyce cared! He still had fun! Here are some pics from the festivities...

Tyce with all his presents... How cute are his new church shoes???
My mom also got him these cute Sketchers...Auntie Lindsay got Tyce this gorgeous picture of Christ as a little boy, and it was signed by the artist!Tyce was really excited about his banana bread with whipped cream on it...

Tyce had his 1 year check up this week and his height is in the 90%, head in the 90%, and weight in the 50%. He is walking around like a champ now and is eating all table food now (with the exception of one bottle at night which we'll do until our formula runs out). He has been a very happy boy the past couple weeks, I think because he loves regular food and loves to walk around. Cute things he does, folds his arms for prayer, gives kisses and hugs, plays peek a boo, plays catch, dances, says ma-ma and da-da, still adores his brothers, and brings me food from the pantry when he's hungry. I'm hoping he has turned a corner, he was a difficult baby but now is such a joy! I love you Tyce!!!

Oregon Trip Part 2...

Here are some more pics from our week in Oregon...

Tyce and me, he was SUCH a good boy on the trip... Adorable pic of the cousins holding hands...
Of course they loved throwing rocks...When I first got there I was ready to say goodbye to my sugar free diet for the week. My dad snapped a picture of my first cookie in 7 weeks...IT WAS DELICIOUS!!!Joshy enjoying a smore...One of the highlights of the week was playing spoons with my grandparents. Ah it was a HILARIOUS night! My grandparents are such good sports and they make any game so very entertaining! At one point...root beer came out my mom's nose because she was laughing so hard! We took the boys to this golf course and they had fun about the first 9 holes, then they got hot and bored but still had fun...Tyce's first time in a hot tub. He was SO cute. He held on so tight to those two balls and cuddled me so tight...Grandpa being silly with the boys...Parker and I...Our attempt at a family picture...We rented the boys some bikes and they had fun with daddy riding around the resort...They LOVED the hot tub on the patio, they went in pretty much every morning...For obvious reasons, this looked too funny to not take a picture of...They loved the kiddie pool as well...Tyce making a silly face....Look closely through the chairs and you'll see two cute bums!More hot tub fun...Joshy enjoying some rootbeer with his smores...They had fun making smores but Jackson HATED eating them because he got so sticky, haha. Josh, of course, had no problem with it...Ok so these pics are backward but one night my dad, Jason, Lindsay, and Parker thought it would be fun to throw these plastic balls into this high ceiling fan and see where it shoots them out to. Well, one of Jason's balls happens to pull the chain and turn the fan off! I know, what are the odds? Well it's a very high ceiling so they formed a human pyramid to turn it back on, and it worked!
He was just too short so he grabbed some long tongs to help pull the chain...

Gosh we had so much fun together as a family. Luckily I get to go back in a month for our girl's retreat! Yay! Well, one post to come...Tyce's first birthday!!!!

Oregon Trip Part 1...

Well we are home from our trip. We got back about 1am this morning and poor Parker had to get up early for work. We are tired and have lots to catch up on but it was so worth it, we had a great time with my family in Eagle Crest. We flew in last Sunday and had a 2 hour layover in Salt Lake so Parker's sisters Jackie and Christine came to see us and I got to see my new niece, baby Kate! She's adorable and I wanted to steal her. On our way home we had a 1 hour layover and Parker's parents and little sister Tegan met us at the airport and we had about 20 minutes to talk, which was NOT enough, but better than nothing. I love our families and miss them all so much already!

Anyways, not surprisingly, I took a lot of pictures so I will do this trip in three posts. The first one will be our waterskiing fun. We spent two days at the lake and had tons of fun...

Here are my grandparents, avoiding the sun like the plague... My beautiful sisters...
Mason, Josh, and Olivia...Abbi and Jackson...All the cousins...they had SO much fun together...Where was Tyce? Taking a nap on the boat like an angel...My parents...Joshy...Tycee falling asleep on Grandma...Parker on the tube, right before he got dumped...Josh loved driving...David and Parker, being gay before they tubed...Cute guy loving his life jacket...Jackson loved tubing with Parker...Parker on the wake board...My sis and I live across the country from eachother yet STILL manage to each buy the same swimsuit, without eachother knowing!!!Josh loved holding the flag...This is the farthest into the lake Josh got the entire week (besides playing in the day use area). He was surprisingly wussy about tubing or getting in the "drown water." I know my eyes are closed but how cute does Jack look?Parker skiing...Tyce loved riding in the boat...Parker and Jack on one tube and me on the other. Jackson was so brave and could've gone for another hour, haha...We found out the Tyce LOVES watermelon...

Sorry for the picture overload. My next two posts will be shorter. =) Stay tuned!!!
