This week's Monday Man goes to the young, handsome, and extremely talented, Emile Hirsch.
I had no choice but to showcase this rising star after witnessing true magic on the screen in the film, Into the Wild.
I haven't watched a movie that stayed in my heart and soul in a really long time.
Into the Wild is the story of a free-spirit young man who had everything, but gave it all up to live on his own terms.
Throughout, Into the Wild, The Lords of Dogtown and The Girl Next Door, Emile delivers the goods without trying. He just is the character. Although, these films aren't perfect, Hirsch's ability to transport the audience into his world makes up for the cinematic flaws of the films.
So on this Monday, rise and awake to the eye candy and brilliance of a star soaring towards the sky.

Freaky Friday
This is the first edition of Freaky Friday!
Each week I will post a film, actor, character, or scene that I consider to be a whack-a-doo!
This week's choice is Clay Pigeons starring Joaquin Phoenix, birthday boy Vince Vaughn, and Janeane Garofalo.
In this suspenseful, drama the lives of two guys, Clay and Lester, are intertwined by the death of a couple.
The small town has big ears and quick mouths. Soon everyone is suspecting Clay. However, a new smooth-talking, cowboy hat wearing, drifter enters the picture and things begin to heat up.
Check out this mixture of laughter meets the twilight zone for your dose of Freaky Friday.
P.S. You'll love Lester's laugh!

Wednesday Woman
Jenifer Lewis is one of the hilarious star's of Tyler Perry's new film, Meet The Browns. This past weekend I was able to spend Easter Sunday with my family laughing my blues away at the cinema. Ms. Lewis is one of my favorite scene-stealing actresses.
Her witty-humor and tell-it-like-it-is sassyness makes you know she's in the room. Whether she's the realistic sister in Corrina, Corrina or the Diva aunt on Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, you're sure to enjoy any movie she graces with her presence.
Celebrate this Wednesday with Jenifer Lewis films to put that smile back on your face!
