Our Precious Little Baby Girl
Brynn Lee Lueck is finally here! We are just so happy to have her here as the newest addition to our family. We just love her so much already. She was born on Monday, January 30, 2012 at 12:29 pm. She weighed 8 pounds 8 ounces and was 20 inches long. She's healthy and is as perfect as can be.
We went in to the hospital on Sunday night around 9:30 pm....contractions started around 7 that night. We got to the hospital, hooked up to the monitors, and found out I had only dilated to a 2. Our sweet nurse helped things move a little faster so they wouldn't send me home. I finally made it to a 3-4 and they moved me to my delivery room around midnight. The anestesiologist was called in and I got my epidural at 1:00 am. (I was so grateful to have that medicine) Things moved slow and I had to get pitocin at 7:00 am. I started pushing at 11:45 am and we had her at 12:29 pm.
Ricky was such a good husband and helped out so much. He was there with everything I needed and asked for...sometimes even before I asked he knew what to do. He knew how scared I was and helped make it as calm of a situation as possible. He's been such a great dad...which I already knew he would be, but it's sweet to see him in action with his little baby girl. I think she may already have him wrapped around her little finger. All ten fingers, in fact. =0 )
These pictures were taken like a few days before she was born:
And here's our precious little Brynn...
We are having so much fun getting to know her and her habits and enjoying every minute of every single thing she does new and learns. I just love her smell, her sweet cheeks to kiss, her big lips that make the cutest smacking sound when she's hungry, her sweet blue eyes (so far they're still blue), just everything about her I love. She is already a sweetheart and can't believe we are so blessed to have her here with us to have forever. We are so grateful to all the help from everyone who has made this such a wonderful and perfect time. Our families have been so wonderful and helpful and we COULD NOT have made it through this without them and their help and hard work and late night trips to the store and help around the house and advice and love and support and all of the above. Thank you everyone!!!!!! We love you!!!!!!
