LAKE POWELL
Our trip to lake powell was great, hear are just a few pictures of our week:
we all hike to rainbow bridge(largest natural arch in the world). you drive the boat up to a dock about 3/4 of a mile from it and hike in. last year it was a 1 1/2 miles in so you can tell how much the lake is up.
the channel was really ruff so we stopped and sawm on a sandy cove that was calm while we waited for everyone.
Joey wake boarding, LOOK at the back ground!!
Kaycee and Temet playing in the water.
Loa water sking, she loves it and is fun to watch!!
Myan sking, this year she learned to get up by herself. i do not have to be in the water to hold her skies striaght.
brooke is ready for the next step, she goes back and forth within the wake, now we will unhook the rope from the skies!
Joey always makes it look effortless!! he also did a lot of wake surfing behind Fran's boat.
even I got a little air!!! not bad for a big guy right.
Joey and Jake
Kaycee and Marcie while I was whipping them out. the both hung-on!
Brooke and Mckinley
I saw this cave and thought it would be fun to climb up to. Joey was the only one able to make it by himself(he's like a lizard on the rocks)! he is in the front.
Loa delt the cards for her and I. I went to help Kaycee when i came back in she had fallen asleep, and yes i did peek at her cards (gamesmenship in the our family no no bounds)!
Brooke and Temet
this was a cool canyon we found, by the end we were pushing the boats along because the walls were so narrow.
Fran had this boat, great for wake boarding and wake surfing but not fun in the ruff chop !!
