James in Preschool

James is our social butterfly and has had a hard time finding friends since moving here. Justin has not been the easiest baby so I do not have the time I would like to spend with him. He has expressed a desire to work on his numbers and letters. This was a solution that we felt was right at this time. James is in preschool!!! He goes 2 days a week, and I think this is best for everyone!

Pumpkin Village

We decided to try a place in Leesburg to get pumpkins. Apparently it is also a mini zoo, which was a nice surprise. It also had some sides and places to play. It sprinkled on a off a little bit, but the kids had a blast.

New Baby Monitor

Visit from Grandma

Grandma come out to see baby Justin and help me unpack. I know that I would not be able to do it without her!

Zoo Trip

We thought we would check out the DC zoo. It is not as big as the Portland zoo, but at least we have one! It was hot, and I don't think we even walked around the whole zoo.

A Park

Still do not have our stuff, or our van, and we don't know anyone...Thank goodness our neighborhood has a park!

30,000 Feet High

Here we are bright and early leaving Pasco headed to the Dulles Airport. From coast to coast. While in Pasco we know a guy who works there, and he let us board early and meet the pilots!I think Jon has the harder job today, he has Millie and I have Justin. Luckily James is a pretty good kid and just floats back and forth. The plan is to land at midnight (local time). Heaven help us!!

Last night in our house

It has been crazy in our life. I do not suggest moving across country right after having a baby! Jon came back home to help us with the move. The movers have come, packed and taken away all our stuff. The house has been mostly cleaned (the carpets are getting washed in the morning). And we are all tired and ready for being on an airplane ALL day tomorrow.

The sadness has not hit me, as life has been going to fast to even sit and think. We are in for a huge adventure, and I am not sure I am ready for it. But I believe this is what the Lord wants our family to do at this time. Luckily He is here helping me through it!
