...Thanksgiving 2013...

This year was a "Knapp" year for Thanksgiving. It was so awesome to road trip just 6 short hours to Las Vegas from Utah! The year before we had to drive 13 hours to Boise for Thanksgiving and the 3 years before THAT consisted of 4 expensive flights from Kalispell, MT to Las Vegas! We LOVE the short road trips to our families houses now!

Everyone loves G and G's Playhouse!

Cousin time!

Grandma always cooks and cleans for at 48 hours non stop!

Dave and Alyona chillin.

Sophia, who is usually more smiley that this :)

Grandpas always the first to sit down!!! Thanksgiving is his favorite holiday!

Sarah made a mean salad.

Grandpoo on Miley duty.

We do a puzzle every thanksgiving, but since some grandkids are getting older we have to do two now, so there's enought puzzle love for everyone.

It's pretty much tradition that we do a family wide talent show, play at least a billion rounds of musical chairs, and at least 2 billion rounds of the game Thimble.

SUCH a fun year!!! Thanks for all the good times Grandma Orange and Grandpoo!

...Macy's 6th Birthday...

Macy turned 6 in November back when we still lived at Mrs. Stoney's House. Gobby and Pops came down for the occasion and we celebrated by spending the day at Boondocks, eating dinner at Cracker Barrel (her choice), and topping it off with a Sophia the First themed cake and presents celebration!

Pops and Rich had a serious bumper boat competition going on.

...Halloween 2014...

Decorating Halloween cookies...

This is what happens when you mix a naughty big brother, a candy bucket, and a baby.

Boo-naza...Clearfield City throws a Halloween party at their Aquatic Center called Boo-nanza. It was awesome! Tons of games, prizes, activities and all the boo-yah... get it? haha.

We decided to trick or treat in our new neighbor hood, even though we hadn't actually moved in! We were just really excited and also we wanted to trick or treat with our buddies the Leonard's and they already lived in our neighborhood!

The Leonard kids went as Sophia the First, Amber, and Clover... could you DIE?!

...Fall 2014...

I've said it before and I'll say it again. NO ONE loves Fall time more than this here Knapp famila. We live for the months of September -November. It's a crunchy leaves, rust, brown, gold, cool weather, spooky decorations, turkey carving, sweater wearing, pumpkin palooza!

Fall in Utah is pretty awesome/ideal/amazing. The weather is PERFECT, there is pumpkin flavored EVERYTHING, EVERYWHERE, and tons of fall time festivities!

Here's how our Fall 2014 shaped up.

TRI CITY HAY MAZE
We were invited by our long time friends and coincidentally new neighbors, the Leonard's. to a hay maze!
Just a mile down the street from our house is an awesome nursery, Tri City Nursery and they do a fun hay maze and kiddie train ride and slides for the entire month of October. We all had a blast, but especially Rich :)

BLACK ISLAND FARMS
Also in October we were able to to visit the Black Island Farms Corn Maze with some of our favorite cousins, the The McKinley's! This place was SUPER fun. You go to take a wagon out to these fields and pick whatever pumpkin you wanted! It was awesome to spend time with family, have some serious fun AND get our pumpkin shopping done all in one shot!

OGDEN HARVEST MOON FESTIVAL
We hit up the Harvest Moon Festival on historic 25th Street in Ogden... We only took phone pictures (boo) but we had a blast! The kids got to "snowboard", make bread pumpkins at Great Harvest, do a bunch of art projects, and look at lots of exhibits, booths and the like. We definitely want to make in an annual thing!
