HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANNIE!

We are rounding out the end of our birthday month with our sis-in-law, Annie! Annie is Ethan's mom (you may have noticed his birthday on the 26th). Annie is such an amazing woman! I admire her in so many ways. She has spent the last 3 years in Japan with her cute little family, and they have recently moved to California. We are so excited to have them a little closer to home! Annie is a beauty, as you can tell, and is a vibrant, outstanding lady. We love her lots!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LISA!

Well, we are at the end of the month and down to almost our last birthday, Lisa! In case you hadn't guessed, this is Brannon posting instead of Lisa! I just want to say what a great wife you are to me and mother to our children (and sometimes to me too!). You make me laugh, you make me smile, you are very understanding and patient with all the times I have to be gone or be doing other things. You are beautiful and are more beautiful to me every time I look at you. I'm so unbelievably lucky and happy to have you in my life! Happy Birthday sweetheart! HAPPY BIRTHDAY ETHAN!!

Ethan is our nephew/cousin and today he is 7 years old! His family just moved from Japan to California and we are all very excited that they are a little closer to home!! Ethan is an extremely considerate and fun boy and we miss him lots!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY HOLLAND!!

Our little Miss Rose is 4 years old today!

Holland is such a sweet child. She is her own person. She knows what she wants and when she wants it. She does things on her own time, when she is ready. She's always been this way from the day she was born, which was 5 weeks earlier then when the doctor wanted her to come! Holland crawled, walked, and talked later than average, but once she did you couldn't stop her!!

Holland is shy. If anyone attempts to make conversation with her she crawls into her own little shell of arms. But once she feels comfortable with those around her, she opens right up and is the most outspoken and silly girl. She likes to be the center of attention at these times... I wonder where she gets that from?!

Holland is our little klutz! Yes, this little girl loves to run and play but usually ends up on the ground within minutes! She falls down or runs into something a surprising amount during the day, and she has the bumps and bruises to show for it!! But I have to give her credit because as much as she falls, she gets right back up without any fuss and claims, "I'm okay!"

Holland brings so much laughter to our family and we love having her with us!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ALEXIS!!!

Our oldest baby is 7 years old today! It's hard to remember my life without her in it. She has been my little mini side-kick and companion. Alexis is my rock. She has helped me survive some tough times, and has always shown unconditional love!

Alexis is in 1st grade in a dual immersion program learning Spanish! She loves being able to speak another language. She is learning to love reading and writing. She gets at least 80% on her spelling tests every week!

Alexis loves watching movies... good thing for being in this family!! She loves playing with her friends and her little sisters and loves playing "mommy" when I'm not around!

Alexis has such a large heart! She loves to help others, and is extremely compassionate. She is very in tune with others feelings and tries her best not to hurt anyone. Alexis is always the first one to realize when someone is sad, and will be right there if you need a hug.

We are so happy to Alexis in our family. She is the perfect child to have been able to deal with the life that she has been dealt. She has many family members, and has always been able to keep track of them all, knowing everyone's names and who they were to her.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SWEETIE!!!

Disney on Ice

For the girls birthday we have an annual tradition, we take the girls to Disney on Ice!!! It's nice that Disney decides to come every single March so that we can keep this tradition up. Thanks Disney!!!

This year there were four shows in one! We had already seen two of the four, but we were glad to see them again.

We got to see CARS...
We also saw The Little Mermaid....
And the Lion King...
But we were most excited to see Tinker Bell!!!
Keeping with tradition, the girls each got to pick one "present" from mom and dad. Alexis picked a crown that lights up, and Holland picked an Ariel doll which has sparkle fins and shells!
We decided to leave Sage with Nana and just enjoy the show with the birthday girls!!
Holland is a super Tinker Bell fan, we have both movies and can't wait for the next one this Fall, so when the Tinker Bell show started she was mesmerized watching it. She was so interested in watching that it was hard to get her attention while feeding her her snow cone! Once the show ended, I'm surprised she didn't yell out "encore, encore"!!

It would seem that she had a REALLY good time!!! As did we all.

Birthday #2 is my sister-in-law, Tavan. I don't even know how to begin saying how much I love this woman! Tavan is so loving, caring, goofy, a little bit of a freak at times (which is good) and the most outstanding Aunt!! I'm not sure she completely knows how much it means to me to have her not only as a sis-in-law but as one of my most very bestest friends. She is pregnant with her first little bundle of joy and I can't begin to express how excited I am for her!! She is going to be the best mommy! Tavan, I hope you have a wonderful day. Here's to the next 30 years! I love you.
