On Wednesday we went to Zion and hiked up the Narrows. We learned from experience last year that it is much easier with poles. When we started we were freezing and by the time we finnished we were roasting. I got to Wall Street a little earlier than we needed so we hung out and enjoyed our surrounding. It was a fun hike, but the next day I was very sore(great workout).

On the way back from page we decided to go to the North Rim since neither of us remember going there. It was Beautiful! We did a little hiking and watched the sunset on Cape Royal.

Rob and I went camping and Hiking in the Kolob Terrace in Zion National Park.

It was private property so we had the whole area all to ourselves.

We drove on some very narrow roads.

This is an old cabin in Zion National Park that is rumored to be nonexistent. Well here it is.
This is the "trail" to the view point.

We have a few bruises and scrapes to show how great it was.

This is a rarely seen terrian in Zion National Park.

Camping
We camped by a beautiful lake. As it was getting dark we watched as a few deer came in for a drink. It was so relaxing.

We just got new tent and set it up for the first time.

We met in Springdale, had lunch, then floated down the river.

On our way back to Mt.Carmel we stopped and did a short hike in Zion.

It was short we were hiking in flip flops.

My Mom is so great, she makes it possible for us to do so many fun things. Thanks MOM!
