This is what our house looks like now that Rob has had his hand to it. We've got approval and are hoping to also paint by this Spring. It's very cozy and has much more space than our little Arizona apartment. :)

Where the wind comes sweeping down the plain...
I know it's been a LONG time since my last update, but that's what happens when life gets crazy. Here's a glimpse at some of the biggies from the last 6 months.
Rob GRADUATED!!! Hurray!!! My man and his Masters in Cardiovascular Science.
And the next day we were OFF for Oklahoma! Took us 2 days, but we made it. Talk about your long trips - two adults, one toddler and a dog in the cab of a Uhaul. Wahoo (NOT).
Our new home. Just a rental for now, but it will do the trick while we get our feet under us and figure out what comes next.
We've been enjoying our extra time with Daddy. It's been a completely different experience to have him around and we LOVE it! We're also very pleased to still have a Bass Pro Shop fairly close. Matt's favorite thing is to go see the fish.
And over the last 6 months, this little boy has continued to grow...a LOT. I can't believe how grown up he is, actually. He's a great helper and loves to play. He's always busy and is thriving in our bigger house and backyard.

Our Next BIG Adventure...
O-K-L-A-H-O-M-A
Tuesday morning, a job offer was extended and accepted - HuRRaY! Rob will be a pediatric perfusionist, working at Oklahoma University Children's Hospital (above pic). Graduation is May 31st, and our journey will begin the next day. We couldn't be happier (other than if the OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO-klahoma song would stop running through my head). It's so exciting to see all of Rob's hard work paying off. I'm SO incredibly proud of him!
Next step, checking out the OKC area housing - we'll be rockin' the suburbs! Rob was able to check the area out a little bit while he was there this week, but we'll also be making a family trip soon. This girl is thrilled to be going a little more country (must be the Montana blood).

Matthew's Two Year Old Pictures
Matthew turned 2 years old on December 28th! I can't believe how quickly the time has flown by. He's about 31 lbs and 34" tall. He's a total crack-up and has a contagious laugh. He loves all things mechanical, but especially helicopters/planes, construction trucks and "cool" cars. He's growing like a weed and soaks up anything he can possible learn - letters, numbers, colors, etc. He's gonna be smarter than both his parents WAY too soon...I should probably admit that he outsmarts me already at times (he gets his sneakiness from his momma). He loves his friends and family and cries pretty much anytime we have to say goodbye to anyone. His favorite places to go are the Phoenix Zoo, the local airport (you can drive around the outside of the lot and see planes - specifically a yellow helicopter), and the park. His favorite things to do include playing outside, running around with other kids, reading, and especially singing/dancing (The Monkey Dance, Hokey Pokey, Wheels on the Bus, Popcorn Popping on the Apricot Tree, etc.).
Special thanks to our friend Kiya who took his pics for us. :)

Been a while...
So, I guess it's safe to say that I'm not so hot at the whole blogging thing. Oh well. Here are a few cuties from playtime the other day. Our friend's backyard is Heaven for the kiddos. Makes for a good break for the mommas, too. :)

18 Month Pictures
A good friend is practicing her photography and asked if Matt would model for her. How could I pass that up? Thank you Kiya for the amazing 18-month pictures of my Little Man!
