Again, I must apologize for neglecting my blog. I have been so busy creating that I just couldn't get to it. I'm going to have to start scheduling this!

But I do have some things for you to view!
These kits will be featured March 20 and 21 at Digiscrap Boutique, and they will be on sale for 25% OFF! You can get them BOTH for less than $10.00 (that's right two kits for less than $10).

Cranberry Chaise has 16 papers and over 60 elements plus 2 alphas!

Kiwi Press has 18 papers and over 70 elements plus a full alpha!

So, run on over and grab them while the sale prices are good. Just click the preview to see the kits in the store.

OH MY!

If anyone out there has been wondering, I have not fallen off the face of the planet! I am still here! I have just been sooooo busy. I have thought often over the past month that I realllllly needed to post something, but I just haven't had a chance.

As some of you know, I am now designing for three sites! I have recently joined the wonderful design team at The Daily Scrap! I am so excited about this! But, needless to say, it has increased my time spent designing - LOL.

I have so many new kits since our last talk!

Here's what I have at The Daily Scrap and Digiscrap Boutique:
Buena Vista has a touch of Southwest flair, but it could be used for just about anything. The deep colors and rich textures make it perfect for masculine layouts, but don't stop there!
Felicity is light and oh so spring-y! You'll love it for feminine pages.
Petals is another versatile kit that hints at feminine, but has some deeper masculine colors, too.
And, Cranberry Chaise is an elegant kit suitable for heritage and wedding photos.

Here is what I have at Deco-Pages:
They are Spring Blossom and Pemberley. The kits are great for lots of spring and summer photos! Spring Blossom is on sale this week!!!

I also have a couple of new kits that should be available at Deco-Pages this weekend:
Dream Heart is a wonderfully soft kit with inspirational word art. The pastel papers are very versatile.
Krewe is my Mardi Gras kit. There are loads of fun papers and elements...and yes, beads, beads, beads!!!

I'll be back later with some challenge and freebie information for you, so stayed tuned!
I missed you all!

New Kits!...and a freebie of course

Happy Friday!

I'd like to show you some new kits that I will have in the stores very soon.

The first one is Sweet Summer Gingham. It will be available at Digiscrap
Boutique. It has lots of great elements and papers in blue, green, yellow and purple.

Here is a close-up of some of the elements:

Next is Pemberley, the second in my Houses of British Literature series. Pemberley is the name of the great house owned by Mr. Darcy of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice (one of my very favorite books!).

This kit is full of soft colors and delicate patterns. Roses and hearts abound in the papers and elements.

And here are some elements from Pemberley:
Many thanks to Atomic Cupcake, Stacy Carlson, Roberta D'Achille and Tandika Star!!!

And, patient readers, here is your freebie...more pieces to match Kiss Me Kate!

As always, please share some love by leaving a comment, but please don't share the files themselves or the direct link!

Thanks for your interest, but this freebie has been retired.

Java Junkie!

Okay, I admit it...I really enjoy drinking coffee! I am an avid tea drinker, too, but I have to have coffee in the morning. And, it has nothing to do with the caffeine. I thought so at one time, but my third child would not let me drink coffee, so I had to go without REAL coffee for 9 months. I did it, but I was NOT happy! I blame my husband for my coffee addiction - he REALLY needs it - LOL!

I started thinking about coffee a few days ago, and I also though about my favorite snack - coffee and a cookie (preferrably biscotti of some kind). So, what better inspiration for a kit?!

I have put together Coffee and A Cookie for Deco-Pages, and it should be in the store tommorrow. Here is a preview:

This is a pretty large kit. I could not fit it all in the preview. It has 19 papers, 2 alphas, and 70 elements! It will be on sale for 20% OFF for the first week.
Many thanks to Tandika Star of DigiscrapDesigner, Roberta D'Achille, Stacy Carlson and Atomic Cupcake for great actions used to make this kit!

And, of course, I have a matching freebie for you. Please do not redistribute the files in any way or share the direct link. Just send your friends on over to my blog for download information.
Share some love so I know if you like it!

This will only be available for a limited time, so grab it soon!

Happy Friday!

It's Friday...and time for another freebie!
But, it is also time for a ramble.
I have been creating lots of things lately...so much that I am getting a bit too much to see how to organize it all into kits - LOL! I start on something, and it just takes off and changes into something else. So, I think, okay, that's two kits out of that now. I had made myself a kit guideline list a couple of weeks ago to help me keep my kits to a resonable size. So far, I have ignored it completely! I hope to go through all the items I have going (about 5 kits right now) and put them into order so I can get them into the store!

I have a new kit at Deco-Pages called Windsor Square. It is on sale for 20% OFF for a short time!

I had a few things left over when I made the Club Deco December kit, and I really liked them, so I added a few more things and created this kit. It is a wonderful kit for heritage or masculine layouts or really just about anything. You can see that I used a picture my husband took of this gorgeous abbey in Belgium.

If you are a Club Deco member, you can get this as a freebie quick page for a short time.

And now...the FREEBIE!

These are more items that coordinate with my Kiss Me Kate kits at Digiscrap Boutique. I have the full kit (also available in separate paper and alpha/element packs), an add-on kit, and a quick page album! You'll have tons of fun making Valentine pages or great layouts of your little girl!

This freebie has been retired.

New Kits at Digiscrap Boutique!

These are my latest kits at Digiscrap Boutique. Kiss Me Kate is full of lots of fun pink and purple items for great Valentine and feminine pages. I also have an add-on kit and a quick page album! You can find out all the details HERE.
My weekly freebies match all three of these kits, but the items in the freebies are not in the kits. However, once all of the freebies have been retired, they will be available in the store in a special mini-kit! So, if you miss one, no problem!

I hope everyone has a great weekend! I will be posting some previews of upcoming kits later this weekend!

Blustery Day

WOW! Yesterday was certainly an interesting one weather-wise. Here in Germany, officials were requesting that people stay off the roads because of high winds...winds that could be as high as 100 MPH! Now, I know there are places where that is not much, but here, it is definitely something. And, of course, it's not just the wind. It is raining, too! Wearing a coat or carrying an umbrella is really not much help when the rain is literally coming at you sideways! And, I don't think they have invented an umbrella that can withstand a good cough - never mind a really strong wind. I stopped using them years ago simply because my hands are always to full with my school bag, lmy unchbox, my computer bag, a purse or something. I just use a sturdy raincoat with a hood. I don't even buy coats or jackets without a hood anymore. It rains too often here for me to remember to take an umbrella - even if I did still use one.

Okay, now that I have actually bored you to tears - LOL - I think you have earned your gift this week! These are some more lovelies from my upcoming Kiss Me Kate Kit that I just couldn't fit into it.
Everything is in pink this week. I really love this gingham (props to Tandika Star at Digiscrap Designer!). I am also using it in another kit I'm working on...Summer Smile. Both of these kits should be in the store at Digiscrap Boutique within the week (I hope this weekend). And, thanks to Atomic Cupcake for the effects used for the block!

Thank you for your interest, but this freebie has been retired.
I'm leaving the previous one up for about 10 more hours, so grab it while you can.

Please leave a comment! And, as always, do not redistribute the files or the direct link in any way. You may share this by sharing the blog link so others can come here for download instructions - Thanks!

Last Chance - Just My Designs Kits!

One of my fellow designers at Deco-Pages, Tami of Just My Designs, has decided to take a break from designing, so she is retiring all of her kits at the end of the month. They are wonderful kits with lots of great themes, so I encourage you to take a look before they are gone forever!

She made the above ad with her Gentle Romance Kit.
You can check out here kits HERE.
Hugs to Tami!!!!

FREEBIE!

Hello!

I have a new freebie for you today!

These are some items I made while working on my latest Digiscrap Boutique kit, Kiss Me Kate. It is a fun valentine kit with lots of purple and pink papers and elements.

Kiss Me Kate will be my featured kit, and there will be an attendance freebie and a posting bonus, too. So, if you like the pieces you find on my blog, make sure you keep an eye out for the kit and the chat!

These blog freebies are all exclusives and will not be part of the kit or the bonuses. However, they will be available for purchase sometime in the future, so if you miss something, you have a second chance to get it.
Today's freebie has 1 background papers, 1 decorative block, 1 slide frame and 1 ribbon.

This is my latest kit at Digiscrap Boutique.
You can see it HERE.
I call it Winter Jammies. Every year, I get wonderful flannel jammies for the holidays. Jammies are a little weakness of mine. I love them!
And, this year one of the nice sets I received has these colors and cool snowflakes. So, I decided to make a matching scrapbook kit!
Many thanks to Tandika Star and Atomic Cupcake for PS/PSE effects and actions!

I hope to have a freebie up for you soon!

Madness!

So much to tell you!
First, tonight at 7 PM Pt/10 PM ET in the Digiscrap Boutique chat room there will be a Monday Designer Madness chat with lots of freebies and fun! You will get to meet the designers of DSB and get some samples from their kits and other good stuff!
I will have this freebie to give away:
So come to the chat if you would like to have this.

I have some new kits in the DSB store:

Thornfield is full of masculine papers and elements. I named it for the house owned by Mr. Rochester in Jane Eyre. It is the first in a series of kits named after the houses in my favorite books. You can see it HERE.

Snow Baby is my newest kit. It is so versatile. Of course, it is great for snow pictures and the pastel colors are great for any baby layouts. But, it also has enough hearts for some Valentine pages. This is a kit you can use for months!
You can see it HERE.

And now for the FREEBIE!
This is a quick page I made from some of the items in my Snow Baby kit. The doodle is not included it the kit. It is a commercial item I purchased from Bannerwoman.

Please do not redistribute this file in any way or share the direct link. Just send your friends here to get the download information. Thanks!

Thanks for your interest, but this freebie has been retired.

I hope to see you at the chat!

New Kits!

I have some new kits available at Digiscrap Boutique!
The first is from a new series I am working on. I majored in English in college, so I have a soft spot for British Literature, especially the classics. So, I have started a series of kits named after homes in some of my favorite books. The first kit is called Thornfield [from Jane Eyre (also one of my favorite A&E movies - LOL)]. Thornfield is the home Jane travels to and where her life takes many a twist and turn (I won't spoil the book for you if you haven't read it).
I made this kit a masculine one since Thornfield is owned by Mr. Rochester. I didn't really stay with the Victorian period style, though. I just let things go, and this is the finished kit:

You can can see more detailed photos and kit information here:

I also have some paper packs. I call them Petal Packs (rose petals - RoseMadeDesigns, get it? LOL). I have a pastel and a dark option, and I plan to work on a brights version, plus some others. So, if you like to use solid papers, but hate the flat look the paint tool gives you, these papers can help! The papers have a slight texture so they will stand out on your page, but they won't overwhelm it.

Here are the pastels:

You can see it in the store here:

Here is the dark set:

You can see it in the store here:

I hope to have some more things done very soon. I have three more paper packs almost ready and four kits that I am almost finished with.

Enjoy tomorrow! The kids go back to school, and I go back to work on Monday (sigh).

Good News!

Well, I'm not sure if I am a glutton for punishment, or if I just really like designing. But, as of today, I am now designing for digiscrapBoutique! They are having a grand-opening tomorrow, and little ol' me has so much work to do to get ready! So, there won't be a new freebie for a bit. I'm sorry!
I am hoping to have something in the store this weekend, so please stop by and check it out. I know it will be a lot of fun!
And, don't worry, I am still designing at Deco-Pages, too! I have new kits coming to the store very soon! I hope to get them up this weekend, as well.

Did you see my new header image? I finally figured out how to do that! Now, if I can just figure out how to make the rest of it pretty - LOL!

Have a great weekend!

Happy New Year!!!

Hello! Happy 2007!
I know it really isn't 2007 yet, but I wanted to wish you a Happy New Year!

I have a new FREEBIE for you! I was trying to re-create the look of some papers I had seen, but I DID NOT COME CLOSE - LOL! I wanted a blended, tie-dye, grunge kind of look, and I wound up somewhere else. I have also been watching too many MGM musicals due to my ongoing illness (yes, I am STILL sick!), so that's where the Bali Hai/tropical look comes in. If you have ever seen South Pacific, you'll get what I mean. But, I added a 2007 for your New Year's pages - LOL.

Thank you for your interest, but this freebie has been retired.
Please do not share the direct link or the files in any way. Just send your friends on over to the blog, please!

My blog coupon is still in effect for a few more days, so scroll down to find the discount coupon code for all the items I have for sale at Deco-Pages. You can save 20% OFF everything! But, it is for a limited time.

I have some new kits that will be in the store soon. We are moving to a new server and a new cart program at Deco-Pages, so I am going to wait until that is all in place before I put the new items up for sale. But, here is a sneak peek:

I am also working on a few kits that I hope to finish early next month.
And, just a reminder, the new Club Deco Kit, Pop Heart, is coming out tomorrow! Here is my contribution:

You can grab this kit and 11 additional MEGA kits (one a month) for a year's membership: just $30. It is a great deal just for the monthly kits alone. But, you also get lots of free goodies from out designers, free monthly challenge kits and much more! You can sign up at www.deco-pages.com.

Happy New Year!

MMMMMM! Cookies!

No, not real cookies. Although if they ever figure out how to do that, I'll be sure and send some to you all! Here are some cookies you can use in your scrapping. I have three sets of holiday cookie alphas. The red set is a Rambling Rose blog exclusive...only for my readers!
Thank you for your interest, but this freebie has been retired.
The set contains capital letters, numerals and some symbols all in individual files.

Please share some love and don't redistribute the files. Just send all your friends here to get it.

The green set is a freebie at Deco-Pages.com. You have to be registered and logged in to see it, but registering is free and painless. Plus, there are so many freebies there it is worth it! You can find it HERE.

The chip set is available only to Club Deco members...if you haven't joined, now is a great time to do so.
Every month you get a MEGA kit that is sooooooo fabulous, plus lots of freebie goodies like this alpha and other great stuff...all for a very low annual membership price. If you haven't picked out a gift for yourself yet, this should be it! Also, friends and family will appreciate this gift because it gives for 12 whole months. It averages out to about $2.50 a month...you can't buy one regular-sized kit for that much, and these monthly kits are HUGE!
Okay enough persuasion tactics...LOL!

I hope you and yours have a fabulous holiday season!

Cozy

I have finally found a few minutes to put up the full-size preview of Cozy Comfort for you. It looks kinda teeny in that sale graphic, doesn't it? I really like the palette of this kit - even though I am not a big fan of green. It has wonderful corduroy and felt textures (thanks to Tandika Star and Atomic Cupcake). There are lots of fun elements like mugs and a mitten!

Remember, you can get Cozy Comfort for FREE if you have one purchase of RoseMadeDesigns kits total $10.00 or more...and Frosty Fun is FREE if you purchase $25.00 worth of digital kits in the Deco-Pages store (by any designer).

But like Santa, this sale is done on December 24th. So, be sure to get in on this great deal before Christmas.

I've been battling a cold for about a week. I woke up this morning with the most delicious headache (yes, I'm trying a positive spin - LOL). So, I'm off to get thecoffee going and eat something and take some medicine, so I can function at work today. I have already taken two days off, and I really can't miss any more this close to the Winter Break.
