French Choir
Rylie participated in the French choir this year.
They sang the coolest songs.
It still amazes me how well they can speak and sing the language.
Christmas breakfast with friends
Dru had some of her friends over for breakfast on a "late start" Friday in December.
They also did a fun gift exchange.
Liv had her friends over the next Friday.
I am so grateful they both have such good friends.
QUARTERS!
My mom has been collecting the state quarters for YEARS and this year she
finally had enough to give a set of all 50 states to all of her 20 grandchildren.
One Sunday after dinner we all got a map and put the quarters in each state.
This is such a special keepsake!
Thanksgiving 5K
I ran the Cottonwood Heights Thanksgiving 5k with a couple of my friends.
We had a lot of fun and even beat the Mayor!
Boris Diaw
Boris Diaw who plays for the Utah Jazz came to speak to the Butler french students.
He is originally from France and came to a little Q&A and only spoke French.
Owen was selected to ask Boris a question in front of everyone.
Boris even signed Owen and Rylie's shirt.
He was so tall and SO NICE!
NJHS
Dru was elected President of the National Junior Honors Society for her school.
She was asked to speak at their first assembly.
Dru wrote the talk all by herself and did an amazing job.
More Halloween fun!
Our ward always puts on a fun Halloween party.
I love volunteering at the school Halloween carnival.
The kids go SO MUCH CANDY trick or treating!
