A couple of weeks ago I got to go up to Park City and stay overnight at the Hotel Park City with some really fun girls. We woke up to this. It was beautiful.

btw this is THE BEST Japanese dressing ever! We had to go and hunt it down at a Japanese market because when would I ever do that at home? The Lorikeet is from the Aquarium of the Pacific, which is amazing.

Hey, I changed my blog. Ignore the gigantic cutest blog on the block thing in the top corner. They do have some cute backgrounds though. Ya know, if you're looking.
Any-who; Why in the middle? Because that's where I am. Both literally (I sitting in the middle of the office) and figuratively. Ya know? Like I'm in the middle of my life, in the middle of making all the big decisions (yes, I'm taking my time) in the middle of figuring out how I can get back to Europe, and in the middle of trying to decide what to have for lunch. I am, however still the oldest child, that has not changed, so I'm not in the middle of my family, unless you count my parents. Then I am.So that's why I changed the name. Not officially, I think somewhere it's still a collection of randomness, which is still appropriate.Why the bird? 'Cus that's my name. Duh, you should probably know that. I also just think he's cute. His name is Bob Vila. He's named after a penguin, not the home improvement guru. (The penguin may have been named after the original Mr. Vila though.)

Happy Friday! I'm probably going to brave the crowds at H&M and Crate and Barrell tonight so wish me luck. I also made the most epic wish ever at 11:11 this morning. Also I have blogging on my phone now so theoretically I can blog whenever, wherever.

not only is today the coolest date ever, it's also Veteran's Day, so thank you to all the veterans all over the country.

So whats been going on lately? Well the mountain above the U caught fire.
Went to see the balloons, which couldn't go up because it was too windy, but we did see Darth Vader.
Went golfing at the Homestead. I'm a much better golf cart driver then golfer.
Went to Bear Lake for the Bird family reunion and had lots of fun. Don't mind the finger, it's meant to be there...
And went to Lagoon with the firm Lagoon day.


That's about it.

Abbey Road

Such a great concert. Down in Provo on the first Friday of every month there is a free concert put on. It's on top of a parking garage just off Center St and Freedom. This last month (July) they had a bunch of local artists from a bunch of different bands come together (HA!) and do the entirety of the Beatles Abby Road album. It was an awesome night with perfect weather capped off with fireworks. Fireworks, Japanese lanterns and the Beatles, what more could you want? Free cupcakes, done. Got them too. You should go to the next one.
