First Day of school!

I'm about ready to go pick up Timmy from his first day in the first grade. It has been a long day. I was tempted to put on his cartoons just to fool myself into thinking he was here! He was so anxious to get to school....backpack on standing by the door with no shoes on! hahaha And 10 minutes before I had planned on leaving! I'm glad he is enjoying school so much, he's always loved to learn. Well better head out, here is some photos from this morning...

Feeling Scrappy and new stamps are keeping me busy!

WOW I knew it had been awhile since I had blogged but didn't realize it was THIS long!!!! I just wanted to touch base with my friends and let everyone know I'm still around!
I won a card class at Feeling Scrappy!, it just finished and though I had a hard time keeping up I did enjoy the inspiration it gave me. And I actually completed a card box with dividers and several cards. I still have a few more sketches to make cards from and I do feel a little more confident about making cards! She has another class getting ready to start the begining of March. She has an awesome DT that will keep you inspired! Trust me you will love it!!!
Not only did they inspire me with card designs (that includes the others taking the class) but they inspired me in the new stamps I just about finished up!!! I had so many wonderful ideas for stamps that can be used for card making. In fact I completed 25 stamps!!! I just need to finish up on the particulars...like make it a single stamp or a set. So far I have about 9 sets/single stamps ready. I'll try to get them posted with in the next couple days!!! Well time to go...I guess I had more to say than I thought! :o)

Two days in a row!!!! Don't faint Tricia!!! She usually tells me I'm overdue on my posts!! ahahahaha Today I'm posting my card I did for Feeling Scrappy! I usually don't do cards, I'm never happy with them. But I decided to get better I have to practice! What better way to practice than with a challenge!!! So here is my card!

I pretty happy with this little card! I used my stamps "Just Chill Bill" You can get them at my site and bling from kraiser crafts!!! Fun little embellis to sparkle up your pages! Seems that is all I have time for anymore!! Anyway I found out about this fun tutorial by Jessica Turner. She is doing a week on scrapbooking baby Plus giving goodies away! I just found out about it and it starts today! Head on over to check it out!!!! My son is 5yrs old but I still have tons of baby photos to scrap and I'm sure the tips can be used with other layouts!!! WHAT A DAY!!!

Actually what a week, but today was the icing on the cake!!!! I can't believe what a great day I had!!! I actually won the Minibox!!!!! I am still in shock! I probably will be until this time next year!!!! You can go to Vanilla Joy and check out how my day started out!!!! It is a wonderful blog and I'm not saying that just because I won! Kelsey has so many wonderful tips and ideas, some I want to try, some I never thought of!!!! She does reviews on books too, not that I read much (I can't sit still long enough!!hahaha) But my mom does and that helps me get an idea if she will like it!!!So I strongly suggest checking out Vanilla Joy!

Now for a peek at some new stamps by yours truely!!!! I am on a roll thanks to my friends Tricia and Regina!!!! They are also at Paper Popsicles forum so you can chat with them too! Last week I completed 3 new sets and these week I completed 3 more!!!! I love making stamps and getting to share them with all my friends!!! Tricia helped me with the ideas for 2 sets and Regina gave me the idea for another!!! They are the ones with their names on it of course!!!! Actually the "Date Me!" set is the other one that Tricia helped me with, but I couldn't very well put Date me Tricia on it now could I!!!hahaha So here are the 6 from the last couple weeks and the other 2 sets from a couple months ago!!!! The "Date Me!", "Stamped!" and "Friends and Buds!" sets are all mix and matchables!!!! Enjoy!

This is a wonderful blog!!! There is always interesting ideas and helpful hints, like "childrens face painting” ,"family fun activities" “positive discipline for children” and for you there is “original date ideas” and “obaji products”. Yes life is full of them some bad, some good. This is a good one!!! Paper Popsicles a great place to get kits has changed to no committment required! So if you are worried that you may have to purchase a kit that you don't really like (I never had that happen to me here!!!) you're not obligated to purchase. I had this sketch sitting around getting dusty!!! I finally thought it was time to make these cuties into stamps!!!! They are 2 1/2 x 4" tall a great size for journaling without taking up too much room and add some whimsy to your layout!!! How about baby announcements!!!! I would love to see a set of baby announcements done with the baby data written in the journal space!
