Searching...

This morning we headed out on the trail on a searching, sleuthing mission to see if the monkey was still in the tree.

I tried the sneaking up, camoflage technique... but the monkey was no where to be found. So we headed to the soccer field to use bionic knees.

Out of no where appeared Poppy, a recycled dog from a local humane society. Que the music, Oh my goodness, Poppy was so cute with his long flowing ear hairs. Sigh...

Surprise for Secret Agent Work

A couple of weeks ago, I went to the vet for some supplies. This vet was close to home & not our normal vet. When Mom was paying, we couldn't believe our eyes... There was my friends picture on an advertisement. We both thought, hmmm, this is unusual. So once we got home, we emailed my friend, apparently, the Vet's office used his picture without permission. Not a nice thing to do. So Mom and I received our special sluething orders and a few days later, we were back at the Vet's to gather evidence. Hehee, Snort! The evidence was secretly sent to my friend.

So today, I received a special package from my friend, Special Agent Pug, to say thank you for the sluething work. The package smelled so good, I couldn't wait to find out what was inside. Finally I opened the two layers of paper....

To discover, more paper, Oh the suspense.

Then, there is was, an awesome skully bowl, in my favorite color and the delectable pig parts tied in an adorable pink paw ribbon.

Oh my goodness, I've never had pig before, but it sure was yummy good.

THANK YOU to Special Agent Pug for this wonderful surprise gift.

Your Friend,

Secret Agent Suki

Shopping Adventures

New discovery adventures today... Mom and I have been working on a quilt for my friend Noodle. Apparently, Mom didn't buy enough thread, so today I went to help pick out spools of quilting thread. While at the sewing store, I wanted to give this fancy-schmancy sewing machine a whirl. Darn, my legs weren't long enough to reach the accelerator petal, golly-geesh, I couldn't make it work. Note to self, next time don't sit in a dark colored chair... AND pack a lint roller...Pug hairs were everywhere... Hehee, snort. Everyone was super nice and helped us pick out just the right thread. Then I discovered the Scissors! Not just any scissors, they are special ones, Mom says they are like what her Grandma used, so they are extra special. But then I found out scissors aren't made for Pugs & I can't run with them. After we purchased the thread and scissors we headed off to the next destination ... Tuesday Morning, but wait... it's Saturday, not Tuesday, and it's in the afternoon, not morning...I'm soooo confused. Mom called ahead to make sure I could shop, they said yes, but I had to ride in the basket. So Mom packed my travel blanket so I wouldn't have wire basket imprints on my derriere. On the shopping list was pillows. Apparently, they had to ride in the basket too. What is your favorite or unusual shopping adventure? If you haven't been shopping, where would be your favorite shopping destination?

So Busted

Last night, Mom took me outside for one last potty break before bed. Mom was distracted by her iphone, so I took this opportunity to eat the ripe strawberries. I thought I was being sneaking and she wouldn't notice. But I was wrong, darn, so busted on devouring all the berries.

Stars & Hogs

All week, Mom has been giving hints about a special surprise adventure. But I haven't been able to figure it out... First hint was the adventure would be a first for both of us, some place with cold temperatures & close to home... but how can that be? This weekend afternoon's temps were record breaking 90 + degrees, Pug melting weather. Another hint was I had my own ticket and seat. What...? The only ticket I've had was for an airplane ride to Neena's & Papa's house and I had to ride under a seat. Now I get my own seat and not sit under someone's derriere?...Awesome! One last clue was something about Stars & Hogs. This had me so baffled... Plus, Brandy stayed at her home, what the heck? She always goes on adventures.
Once we arrived to the surprise adventure destination, my papers had to be checked. Thank goodness there wasn't an airport naked body scanner, what a relief. Mom got a goofy wrist band that signifies that we cleared security.... What's going on?... We are in a ginormous building that is cold, what a relief from the melting temperatures.
Oh my goodness, there it is... Stars and Hogs hockey game! Mom said it was meant to be destination... doggies allowed, first hockey game for all of us, plus the Stars are playing against the Rockford Hogs. Wish my Uncle, Aunt & cousins could be here.

Mom has thrown out a first pitch at a baseball game, I want to participate in a hockey face off or at least ride the Zamboni machine. Maybe next time. The Texas Stars lost 5 to 1. But it was a great time!
