Cali for the Summer

Hello California! We have been in SoCal for about a month now and we will be here til the end of the summer. Wes has summer position at a law firm called Gresham Savage. He is splitting the time between 2 different buildings and is doing a different kind of law in each. The first six weeks he is spending in San Bernardino and the last six he will be in downtown Riverside. Wes works hard, but the firm has also planned fun things for us to do. Every Thursday night we play on the firm softball team against other law firms. The team is pretty good and it is fun to play and to watch. Last week Eve was the team MVP and got her name in the Softball Reporter. That's an email that goes out to everyone in the firm recapping the most recent game. Afterwards we all go out to Shakey's Chicken & Pizza to celebrate. Everyone is fun and easy to get a long with. We went to an Anaheim Angels game and had hot fudge sundaes in mini baseball helmets. This Saturday we have the firm picnic at Knott's Berry Farm.



While Wes is busy with work, Addy and Eve are spending lots of quality time together. Eve is teaching Addy how to crawl. Addy has been getting better and better at getting around. She will be crawling across the room in no time. She pulls herself up on the furniture and likes to smile for approval when she gets all the way up to standing. She learned how to clap this week too. Wes has been trying to teach her, but she would never do it for him. Then we were driving in the car and heard a smacking noise. Eve peaked over the car seat to see Addy clapping! Just like Eve, Addy loves watermelon in the summer.
